ok, I just tokk a few pics of the Battle troll and Baby rog side by side to compare size. Tell me what you think?

If you look at Josh's signature picture, GTG only came up to the Balrog's knee. Nice try, but that Gondorian soldier is taller than the Balrog's knee. Also, if you recall the Cave Troll scene in Moria, the fellowship only came up to his thigh. So, the scale is off, unless you're looking at a short Balrog.

Those are my thoughts exactly. The Balrog looks to be in a smaller scale than the Troll. They are somewhat close, and do look good displayed together. I'm going to display my BT with the upcoming Mumak in a Pelannor Fields mini-beast display.

I've got the mini-monsters grouped on my shelves as follows(groupings based on geographical location as well as one large base/one small base together):

1. Watcher/Baby Rog

2. Fell Beast/Shelob

3. Battle Troll/Mumak (when these come in)

4. Stone Trolls (I don't have these, but I'll get them eventually as one mini-monster group)

Then that will just leave the Daddy Rog as the only mini-beast I don't have. Maybe one day...

Man, that Battle troll is sweet.
And I prefer the size... Will go sweet with my FellBeast, Berserker and mini-Balrog.

SSW were so nice to give us the opportunity to have a troll/balrog in our collection by releasing these pieces.

I'm so glad Weta done al the creatures....I'm going to have daddy rog and cave troll together (If I can ever get the funds!), then the mini beast shelf with Fell Beast, Battle Troll, Balrog and Shelob, then beneath will be the Mumak and Gothmog on Warg, and beneath that the Watcher, but that has the Isengard stooges and Newborn Uruk next to it, which were originally under Saruman but I made THAT dsplay cabinet the 'main characters' cabinet.

That's awesome Frodo. I have the Warg displayed with KOTD. The shelf next to them has RWOS and GOSF. It looks cool to have those 4 lined up.

Sauron is by himself beneath the Barad-Dur giclee. On the other side, I'm going to have Leg./Gim w/ a Treebeard bust (those will be my only TTT pieces) and they will be beneath the Rivendell giclee. I'll post some pics soon when I'm done rearranging.
