The more I think about it and the more I look at the prototype pictures, the more disappointed I am with the finished piece. Aragorn came out with some changes, but at least his color changes worked. Like someone said earlier, for an item this expensive, all I should have to do is open the box and set it up. I don't believe in having to paint/weather the material to get it to match the prototype. I'd probably end up screwing it up anyway.

I fear this may end up getting sent back.

I will buy it off you if it is mint.

The few flash photos are helping the case any; but yes this IS too red.

I know you shouldn't have to, but it won't be too hard to drybrush this.

you'd think they'd try to fix it before shipping. they may not even know about the new miny skirt that he's wearing.

You gotta wonder first the complete change with Aragorn then the hair and lips issues with Galadriel and now this,when was the last time a PF was released that didnt have any issues.

The piece was NOT this red at SDCC, and the pleather/leather work was incredible!

I know everyone is grabbing their pitchforks, so I'll just jump right on the band wagon.

I've already been contemplating quitting LOTR entirely. Mostly I was thinking about selling most of the SSW stuff and just keeping SS PF's. I wasn't too happy about the Aragorn and although I have him on display, doesn't do much for me. Now with this, thinking about quitting LOTR all together and going just Marvel & Alien/Predator.

SS, you better not screw up the Berserker PF or that will put me over the top.

To be honest I think when SS saw what arrived from China they were most likely (*%$@! It isn't as if they are blind to these things. Remember the thread regarding Vega and how there was discussion at Sideshow's headquarters about their frustration with the Chinese factories.

Everybody complaint about Aragorn but when we got him people were actually happy, but this is the opposite. What are we suppose to do? Where are the Sideshow people like Dusty and some others so they can answer our questions? Don't they read these posts?

Just watched the 360 and definately a darker maroon but even more noticeable if u watch the Comic Con vid so u guys certainly didnt get the statue u thought u were getting.

I guess the chinese really do love their red.
