Thought about that too, maybe with the T1 body and you would hit 2 flies with one swing, if you get what I mean, in terms of getting the chest out more, you know?
And the puff on the left part of cloth comes out great, Tim.
I, for my part, totally see the difference...
:clap

Thanks everyone!

Nick & Endo - Yeah, I noticed the legs look a little small as well. I am thinking I will add on the muscle attachments from the TrueType figure. Those are a little too big though, so I will most likely sand them down a bit.

Can´t wait completed pics.
I bet it´ll look great...

Looks awesome! I think adding those leg muscles will be a great idea. The blue padding looks a lot better with the new material inside. Nice work Twik.

Okay, here it is! I added the thigh muscles, and finished of the other pieces. I did mess up one of the shinguards (his left leg... really I didn't mess up, I just tried 2 different ways of making them and liked the other one better... it was quicker and bends around the shin better). I am not totally happy with the shoes either, but I did just win and auction on a Hot Toys Goemon Ishikawa figure, which I intend to modify and use on this one.

What do you guys think? If the weather is nice tomorrow, maybe I will get out my good camera and do some fun shots!

Next step, I am going to start from scratch and make a Scorpion. This will give me a better gauge of time involved, so I can throw out a price for anyone that is interested. This next week is going to be crazy at work, so I am not sure how much I will be able to get done... I'll keep everyone posted.

Nick - Yeah, the head is still a little large. Honestly, my collection of these figures are still really small (just started collecting them last month), and I don't have a good collection on "parts" to choose from. Most likely, down the road, I will end up putting a different head on him. The only "spare" heads I have are the silly ignite ninja heads... those are AWFUL.

That looks fantastic! You've really improved since page 1 :clap

The only suggestion I can make right now would be to have the black undershirt come up a bit more on the sides. Closer to the armpits. The pic on the previous page of Sub-zero has them a little higher than yours. Just slightly higher is all. Should be a simple fix on the next go around. But other than that, it looks perfect :rock

Can't wait to see Scorpion!

That looks sick, Tim.
Absolutely, but I think the edges of the shoulder parts could get a little higher, but I don't wanna wisecrack, especiallly since I couldn' t have sewn it your way and it looks great already, but you know what I mean?

WOW, that is awesome! Subzero is my fav MK character. I am very jealous right now. Great work on him!

Buttmuch - Again, we are on the same page. I had already adjusted my templates.

marker & Dark Passenger - Thanks guys!

Endo - I totally know what you mean... In fact I have a pair laying around where the edges (near the sholders) are a bit higher... and honestly, I just didn't like it. haha. But, When I start making them for people... maybe I will throw that out there as an option... it really doesn't effect my time or anything like that.

:lol Great minds think alike I guess.

Like I said, its not off a whole lot. Just a bit more chest showing than that game pic. And something like that is a very minor problem considering the rest of the outift. You absolutely nailed this! Are you sure you haven't sewn before this? If this is where you start, I can't wait to see what you'll be able to do in just a few months! :google

Any thoughts of doing more MK characters after the Ninjas? Would you go classic or different costumes? Etc Etc. Aside from the Ninjas, I think most characters' outfits got a little better after the first few games. But to me the ninjas were PERFECT in MK II. After that the costumes went down hill. Not that I don't like them, but they were less uniform and each started to get their own styles. Which of course is what you'd want in individual characters, but I just really liked the uniformity of the ninjas.
