I know what you mean, I've played every MK game, so it was great to have some totally new characters to play with and them being DC made it even better.

Seeing as the last beat em' up featuring the characters was the horrible Justice League Task Force on the Snes

Played this game last night and beat the DC story mode. Game is cool but I wish it was more graphic. I like the 3d aspect and I love how you can fall off of buildings and fight during your free fall.

I am very glad I did not purchase this game though... after I play the MK side of the story I will be over this title.

Anyone else dissapointed with the character endings? They are all pictures and not animated like the Tekken or other game endings used to be. It's not much incentive for me to finish Arcade mode with each character to find that the ending just one picture with some voice over and captions. All in all though the game is nice.

Yeah, it is disapointing. I think the last MK game was like that too though. This game seemed to be rumored forever and then came out all of a sudden (at least to me) so maybe they rushed it and just settled for those endings instead of animating them.

In Armageddon it was a voice over and scrolling text overlaid over the character performing a Kata.

Mortal Kombat 4 had animated Endings, but I think it's the only one.
