I've gotten a bunch of the unlocks but there's still a bunch I can't get until they unlock the full mobile game with those ladders and whatnot.

Alright so I didn't want to pay for Goro later so I pre-ordered through my xbone. I had a $25 gift card laying around so I bought the kombat pack online from GameStop. I received the purchase confirmation from GameStop and it says that the link for the download will be in a separate email. I have not received anything yet. Do they have to wait until the game is released before sending the DLC code?

I bought the Collectors Edition from Gamestop. Then I decided to buy digital copies on PSN store. My download finishes in 60 minutes and in 2 hrs I should be good to play.

Since the Collectors Edition comes with the DLC codes, Ill sell off my physical disc copy and keep the statue.

Win-Win situation. Discount game disc on kijiji - digital copies means I don't have to switch discs for games and I get to play it 3 hrs early.

It's not in my junk mail folder. I just hope it shows up before the game goes live. I also much prefer digital copies that I can switch between without getting off the couch. But since there is no physical copy to sell it has made me very picky about what games I buy and I will be renting a lot more.

On launch day, customers that purchased the Kombat Pack will receive the Samurai Pack, containing three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character.

I gotta say, I was expecting some junky piece of plastic crap with this coarse scorpion figure but it's actually pretty friggin awesome. It's got heft to it and really well done. I can honestly ser this becoming one of those sought after pieces.

Finished the story mode... I thought it was great.

I was surprised by the last two character chapters.

Looks like Cassie is the new main character of the series.

I wouldn't be surprised if none of the parents were in the MK 11 and we got more new characters.

I really don't see it that way, NR did a great job in balancing all the characters and they all played their parts, that final act was Cassie's redemption cause she was a **** up the entire time while Kung Jin was being the alpha dog

That ending doe, what a cliff hanger

How many chapters is the story? I am only 5 chapters in. Rain is too cool of a character to not be a playable. I'm not a fan of DLC but hopefully they use it to bring him in.

There are 12.

This is a very minor spoiler, it really doesn't affect anything in the story but yeah...

Rain isn't playable but the the story sets up a plot of his own, he's got his own agenda that could come into play in MK11

I went to Target to pick up a copy of MKX and the clerk told me that they are running a special, if you pickup the game and the season pass (Normally $30) you get the season pass for only $10. I wasnt planning on buying all the DLC, just pick a choose here, but at that price, I might as well just get the season pass. I spent 60+10 - 5 (pre order gift card)= $65 for the game and the season pass. Thought you guys might be interested if thinking about picking at least some of the DLC later.

Hang on, did that just say "Carl Weathers as Jax?" Because, if so, then, I want to play that game.

I got the Amazon import edition. Really like the statue. Much better than the stylized one IMO. Only played through Sub-Zero on the story mode so far. I'm really bad at this too. I don't know if its from characters I'm not used to play with or the fact I've switched from Xbox 360 to PS4 and am getting used to the new controller style. I did pretty decent with Sub-Zero though, but considering him and Scorpion are my usual go-tos, that's not unsurprising.

I'm really impressed with the story so far. Its even a step further than MK9, which was really good IMO. It already so cinematic, but my desire for a new MK movie has been rekindled. I'd even be OK with them just adapting MK9 and MKX at this point. At least we've got the great cut scenes to watch over and over.

I do have to admit its a bit shady to sell up the kombat packs without having at least one of the characters ready at launch. The Samurai skins are OK, but I would have loved to play as Jason at least today. At least it came with the Kollectors Edition so there wasn't any additional cost.

But am I correct in that the Blue Steel Sub-Zero skin isn't included in the season pass? It looks like the Coarse version of Sub-Zero in contrast to the Coarse "Gold Scorpion" skin that the Kollectors editions come with.
