Thanks, filip. Dd you lug that big comiquette, or at least the base, into the convention and have to carry it around all day?

Sold a few,not worry all of them were Hot Toys and this piece of **** will crack and break anyways,so I didn't care.I sold only 2 statues the 1st Indy PF and the Darkness PF.

1/6 Medicom Rocketeer 2.0

He was small, and he was Medicom, but I'll be damned if the little bastard didn't leave a hole in my collection.

Good news is, like any mass produced piece, I can buy him back (possibly for less than he sold) as soon as funds permit.

My custom Durden was the hardest to let go, but I don't regret it as the collection is nice and focused now. Wish I could collect anything that caught my eye, but financially I had to set some sort of parameters.

A collectible I sold that later I regretted was Hot Toys' King Leonidas. I sold him for 10$ or so over retail after I got him because I couldn't see that body lasting. The regret is not holding onto him a little longer for a higher payout.

I had 8 statues signed over 2 days by Stan. 3 sideshow pieces and 5 Bowen statues. I packed the bases in a suitcase and wheeled them into the Con. The biggest base I had to haul was my sideshow EX Spidey Com. For the Hulk Com, I pulled the biggest of the steel beams sticking out of the base and had Stan sign that. I like to try and get his signature on the statue where it can be seen without having to flip the base over. Sometimes you have to be a little creative if you prefer to be able to see his signature that way.

Ex. Asajj Ventress PF. Twice.

I loved her at the time, and I still think it's a great statue, but I don't miss her now.

Only piece I miss is my Vampirella comiquette, but I didn't sell her.

I'd say my rockecteer pf statue. I sold all of the non 1/6 items from my collection and that one was my favorite. I didn't miss it though as I had other collectibles. i'd probably only feel bad about selling if I sold my entire collection which I figure I would have bigger problems than toys if I ever had to do that.

Sculpt a mullet on that and it could be Macho Man.

:lol you're giving me ideas for another wrasslin custom, ohhh yeahhhh, digg ittt!

One of my favorites too, I sold him, only to buy him back six months later:lol

I have a number of policies to try to avoid ever feeling remorse on selling something.

1) I don't sell unless I need the money so that I can buy more figures specifically. I always replace, not just get rid of.

2) I try to ponder the idea of selling the piece for at least a week. I take the time to box it up and look at it and pose it (or observe it if it is a statue) to see if some feelings come back up.

3) If I don't really feel a loss from having it no longer visible (since it is boxed up and ready to ship out if someone buys it), then I know I can sell it without regret.

Thanks to this for the most part I haven't regretted any piece I've sold before. I sure as hell have regretting buying ones though :lol

I also commonly have a "why the ____ didn't you buy that!?" remorse when it comes to Ebay. I do it ALL the time. I wait and just observe the auction, or just add a Buy it Now product to my watch list only to not bid on it (or not bid high enough) and have it be sold to someone else. So many times I let some really rare pieces slip through my fingers despite going for dirt cheap prices. One recently in particular really aggravated me. Sometimes it can be very frustrating knowing that all it takes is being on Ebay at X hours and X minutes and X seconds to when someone lists an amazing piece for an amazing price Buy it Now. That's all it takes sometimes to get an awesome product.

Hmmmmm. This is a hard one. I have bought and sold so many statues because either

A) I needed the funds - (Hulk Premium Format)
B) I upgraded to a better statue (Hulk Comiquette, JAWS Maquette, Terminator 2 PF)
C) Grew tired of Statue (Darth Vader PF)
D) Problem with the product (Indiana Jones PF jacket, Terminator PF Jacket)
E) Decided to streamline my collection (Spider-man CQ, Punisher CQ, Jason PF, Boba Fett PF, Freddy vs Jason ex PF)

Of all of these I miss/regret only a few. The Terminator 1 PF. I wish I just kept it and not worried about the jacket issues that would not show anyways but my OCD got the better of me. Ended up buying another one from another member and he should be here noxt week.

Spidey and Punisher CQ - I really don't have room to display these after I get my other statues but these two were some of the BEST statues SS ever produced. Now they are to far out of my price range to ever think about getting again.

Hulk PF - Worth so much more now then what I sold him for.

Indiana Jones ROTLA PF - Wish the PF never had issues with the Jacket. It was such a great PF but visions of the coat falling apart over time just haunted me. Ended up getting the TOD PF because of this. Best purchase I ever made. The paint apps are perfect and it is one of my all time fav. Collectables.

I sometimes regret selling my ROTLA PF but when I see pictures of the overly tanned head then I don't. I'm kicking myself for passing up the TOD PF but at the time I was into HT & had there Indy & I ended getting rid that straight away. Hopefully SS will make a Last Crusade Indy PF & nail it.

I dont make many mistakes when it come to my collection, the only statue i regretted selling was spiderman pf which i got when first started collecting and didnt know any better. i missed the statue as soon as it was gone, but wasnt until later did i realize how awesome it was. But i did buy it back for a bit extra $$, so a happy ending.

i sold my hot toys iron man collection last year for financial reasons, i miss all of them, and the cost of them now means replacing them is not an option

Had to liquidate almost everything about 2 years ago . . Miss my Grey Hulk PF and my Valiant Penguins the most . .

started collecting again as my job situation changed . . . haven't been able to get them back . . .

I think my most regretted sale is that of Asajj Ventress PF. Still, I was quite annoyed with her size, but she was my very first PF.

I also sold my Indiana Jones ROTLA PF the other day. I miss him too.

Hi bro I'm really trying to get this one. Does she really fit I to a PF collection? I'm kind of picky on the size as long as it looks ok, is she really small? Did she fit into your collection well in size for a PF collector? Is she smaller than princess leia PF from star wars? If she's that size I. Can live with it. Or is she bigger than the comiquettes like sue storm?
As far as selling I'm missing my g1 transformers misb collection, gi joe 25th collection and my motu classics collection. I sold most of all of them away. Only have a few pieces from all of my favorite 80s shows.
