I have to agree Khev. I thought it was a movie still for a long time. Very awesome art and one of my favorite pieces. I have so many classic posters to rotate in the room. I have a lot of classic comic posters too that I will put in my room with my collectibles when I get that room set up.

That sucks. I had that happen to predator but I was able to replace it. I hate hearing about things like that happening to fellow collectors.

Thank you.

I technically still have them, but Conan the Barbarian, Creepshow, and Robocop were among the casualties.

So far I've only replaced Conan.

1981 Escape From New York 27x41.1982 The Thing 27x41.1987 Robocop 27x41 unfolded. And a fairly rare INTL 1999 Matrix Lightning Style 27x40.
Have actually had these for awhile just no wall space to Hang.I guess I'M going to need to get into some kind of frame/wall rotation.

RoboCop. SOOOOOOO good. I remember seeing the full sized 3D cardboard standee of it in the theater when I was a kid, and I saw it was rated R and my heart sank. Coolest damn looking movie ever and I couldn't see it cause I was 9 years old.

Anyone remember the standee or did I dream it?

Years later, around 88-89 or so, I had a really decent facsimile to the original movie poster but it had "DARE...to keep kids off drugs!" written on it. Better than nothing, but still can't hold a candle to the original, cause drugs are pretty fun. Especially NUKE.

I remember the Robocop standee. Awesome art as it is still one of my favorite posters from any movie. Simple and iconic and looks so realistic.

I love my Revenge fake. It's gorgeous. High quality printing, 1;1 scale. Most of the genuine ones were folded too, so you could end up spending hundreds or thousands on a poster that looks worse than my $20 fake.

Now of course I always advocate the real thing. And never ever try to trick someone into thinking a fake is real. That's scummy.

But I'm just thrilled to finally be able to see this on my wall after coveting it for so many years.

(Please note....I am not saying the fake is BETTER. Real ones, even folded, are BETTER. I can't stand collectors that insist knock-offs and bootlegs are "superior" to the genuine article. In this specific case, I'm just saying I'm happy to have a fake that I can enjoy rather than having nothing at all.)

(See? Pinned it right into the wall with thumbtacks. No need for an expensive frame that will fall off my wall in an earthquake and shatter.)

Keep that Blade Runner safe (if it's authentic), it's very valuable.

I keep mine in a plastic tube, and have only touched it twice.

The Blade Runner is Authentic. It's one of my grails.

It must be Linen Backed or on some kind of board because the Original 1982 Blade Runner 27x41 One Sheet was never released with a white Border.Even the International One Sheet version had no white Border.

The US original 14x36 Insert had a white border all the way around. And and the 30x40 but only white border on the sides.Top and Bottom poster went to the edges like the one sheet.

My prize is an original 1980 ESB one sheet. Framed Jedi on the left is from 1985, the one on the right is the '93 10 year anniversary.

Very nice Khev!

I still kick myself for returning my ESB GWTW poster, because the Ebay seller had misrepresented the condition of the poster
