Movie Series You Rate In Release Order

Are there any movie series of any genre with at least three or more movies where your ranking for them is the release order they came out in? With the first being the best, the second being the second best, the third being the third best, etc.? A lot of user rankings for some movie series vary greatly, but how often do you rank any series in release order?

For me, some series I rank in the order they came out:


Jurassic Park
RoboCop
Iron Man (not counting The Avengers)
Child's Play
Paranormal Activity
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (live-action trilogy)
The Mummy


Wouldn't be surprised if Child's Play changes for me after Curse Of Chucky.

I used to like JP3 better than The Lost World but in recent years I've grown to prefer TLW. Neither is without flaws but I find JP3 is far more problematic.

Iron Man 2 and 3 I need to see again. I like both well enough but what puts 2 a tad above 3 for me:

No way! Jurassic Park 2 was WAYYYYY (5 Y's to your 4) better.... because it didn't have that bleeping annoying actress in it. Tea Loeni. I love the T-Rex in suburbia America part. Epic!

I agree with Iron Man though.

Godfather (yeah, I like the first more than the second)

Alien (I guess, there's only 2 I like)
Predator (same as above, except just the first)
Superman 1-4



For the others, I like Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, X-Men 2, more as far as second films go. With third films? I love Die Hard 3, Iron Man 3 and MiB 3 more than I do the second ones.

I need to see the BTTF movies again, haven't seen them since I was a teen, at least. Remember liking BTTF2 the best but that could change with a rewatch of the whole trilogy.

I think The Lost World is kinda underrated, despite it's flaws. First half is pretty boring and dull, but I think once it gets to the Compy attack, from there it's pretty good minus the infamous gymnastics scene.
