After looking at it, Im perfectly happy w the head size, he's gaunt and skull like , as was the actor , so it fits the character quite frankly . Its not Sideshow-Melon sized, but it works on the Buck body just fine. Reggie had some larger hands, especially compared to his head, so I think this will work perfectly

Im not sure what head this guy is from, but here's a comparison shot with the Barlow head .

Wow! Look at that thing. Amazing. Not some thing whipped up in an hour, but a sculpt worthy of any toy company. I can't believe I'm going to be able to have a Barlow that awesome on my shelf after more then 20 years of waiting.

I don't know if I will offer them painted, probably not, especially as the hands would need to match . There are a number of phenomenal painters on this board that would do him up fantastically !!
I also would rather put my time into other sculpts, there's a set of heads I'm doing now and a number of other characters Id like to get to also .
Did anyone figure out what this guy is from ? What company ? I may use this as a scale template from now on if its from a body form that people use a lot .

Ok so... obviously I didnt have it ready for the weekend..lol

I wanted to paint one up to get better picts ..
The color is a bit washed out because of my art lamp, its actually a little "Bluer" than these show .

Here it is on my costume mockup ..

I just painted the Buck hands, I didn't have time to make nails. The eyes are a lil off from each other on purpose as I wanted to emulate a couple shots I have from the film where the contact layers are sliding a bit, I like the kooky eyes, what can I say

I don't have time to offer these painted , not sure if I ever will but as I said before there are great painters here on the board.



Attn Mods - I hope that this topic can stay here, as a number of members are working on Barlows, and this thread is a great showcase for all of us who are sculpting these guys . I can start a separate thread in the other section for orders if thats ok w all of you ?

Let us know if you are willing to do 2 runs of these. I for one have wat to much ordered and have 2 of my kids bdays this month.
