Black-Suited Spider-Man on Church Tower Scene Replica
$150.00

In Spider-Man 3, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to Mary Jane and his duties as a superhero. But when his suit suddenly changes, turning jet black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality that he must struggle to control. Under the influence of the suit, Spider-Man becomes more powerful than ever – but as he learned early on, with great power comes great responsibility. As the powers of the new suit begin to make him overly confident, he begins to act recklessly, and to neglect the people who care about him most. Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.

Master Replicas’ inaugural Scene Replica from Spider-Man 3 is based upon the first “teaser” image released from the highly-anticipated film, which was also used as one of the movie’s posters. It perfectly encapsulates the movie’s main theme of “fighting the battle within.” We see our hero at the height of his internal struggle, perched upon a rain-soaked church tower wearing his black suit, contemplating the direction his life has taken and the difficult decisions before him. The beauty of this piece is the strength of emotion captured in our hero’s body language, leaving the vastness of the internal struggle that Peter Parker feels entirely to the mind’s eye.

Through the magic that is only Master Replicas, the strong emotions evoked by this key film scene are beautifully rendered in this 3-D piece. Experience all of the anguish, heartache and strength of character that is Peter Parker with this wonderful, timeless sculpture.

Which means it won't be in the same scale as other SS released Spideys? How much was this piece going to be?

1/12 is small but I wait to pass judgement on thie piece.

I'd like to get a few SM3 pieces but I have to draw the line somewhere.

1/12th scale? PASS.

I'm glad SS made one in the same pose now, here's to hoping it's not a runt either.

They seem to be almost the same pose as well which is a bit surprising. I imagine the SS piece will be about twice as big as this.

I will make my decition when i see the Sideshow one. And am pretty sure SS's is going to be awesome and a little bigger than the MR one

And it will cost about the same as well.

1/12 scale with him kneeling like that, this won't be 8" tall
I meant the overall piece, backdrop included. I know Spidey may be a bit small, but ya gotta admit as a whole it's nice.

I love the piece as a whole but its a lot smaller than I would have thought....I'm picturing that Spidey will be about 6" in height and even on a Church ledge with a cool backdrop that is a little pricey....I'll have to see more pics before making my final decision. Although I really like the very subtile "3" in the corner....

Personally, I hate the mirrored base and "3" logo. MR should stick to what they're good at. I'm not sure I understand why they are making mini Spider-man masks either. I would be interested in full size, but minis are just lame.

It is very nice looking, and I may end up bordering it, but the overall piece won't be even 8" tall. The crouched figure will be at most 4", so the overall height of the piece will probably be around 7".
