Bought mine from an ebay seller from Italy. The seller never though of checking it before selling it. It was very hard to pick up with my camera but if you look at the black areas of the base there are raised dots of paint and and a long the left hand side of the 'A' it felt rough to feel. I had to send it back. It was to flawed for my collection. Has anybody else come across this ?

contact ssc if they've got an extra base, most likely they'll just charge you for the frieght and then you can just have the seller credit you for the cost of shipping of the replacement base.

i've had this happen to me before and ssc looked after me.

Did anyone else have there Waitlist convert on the EX? I've had her on Waitlist for several months, and then out of the blue SSC sends me an E-mail a couple days ago that this piece will be converting to an order.

They had a regular at a local comic shop the last time I was in there. I seriously thought about picking it up. Production piece came out great.

Sure am. I didn't cancel, but I was looking forward to getting the Regular later on, since I didn't expect it to convert. I like the EX head, though I wanted to get the Reg to do some customizing and the EX is one I wouldn't want to make any changes to. I hope I get a good one, since in some cases the conversions are of returns with some repairs done to them.

Cool...good luck getting a good one, either way you get both face scultps so you cant go wrong.

I believe I did it almost 6mos ago, which was long after she sold out. I was very surprised that it had converted, being that it was now several months after the piece had been sold out. I actually had forgot I'd even wait-listed her. So who knows you might get lucky? Can't hurt to try (like in my case).
