Yup, I was wrong about this piece and I admit it. It's just that I never knew much about the character, except that Rogue drained her to get her powers permanently. Still, she'll be a good addition to my collection of Avengers PFs.

Well, I have to choose between Ms. Marvel and keeping my Psylocke EX preorder and I decided that Ms. Marvel has to go. X-Men > Avengers in my book. My display case is filled to the brim and I gotta find room for Psylocke and Colossus; it will work out well because I want to buy my wife a Nikkon camera lens. I tossed my Ms. Marvel EX PF on the For Sale thread if anyone is interested.

Agreed, the recent loss of quality is making some of the olders more desirable now, at least for me.

I'm actually leaning in this direction a bit too. I have a few sideshow preorders for stuff I really want:colossus PF, black widow PF, and gambit LSB, but other than that, I am strongly considering adding Cap, Thor, and maybe some females like Ms Marvel and She-hulk PF. The prices are the killer though...decisions, decisions...

I know, i missed getting her at retail back then. $500 is a good price, just i dont want to spend that much on 1 statue. a few have sold for under $500 on eBay recently. $449 was the last sale on Feb 10.

Not sure where you got $450, but I just checked the last two months on eBay and this is what I saw:
2/11- $499.00
2/10- $480 (regular) (450+30)
2/8- $490 (470+20)
2/4- $491
2/4- $356 (regular)

In January, mid300s for a regular and mid400s for a EX was the going rate; the price is definitely increasing.

I believe that the "Golden Age" of Sideshow has passed; there are other players getting into the game and the fact is Sideshow simply has not released anything as outstanding as some of their earlier releases. I HIGHLY recommend picking up the classic Captain America PF. He and Boba Fett are BY FAR my favorite PFs...even more-so than my Doom PF. There is a reason that Doom, Hulk, Cap, and Thor demand crazy prices; they are that good. Let me grab my wife's camera and I will post pics of him with Iron Man.

I'm a little surprised at how much this piece has gone up. To think I canceled her and then she came back in stock with a discount I think, and I reordered. Glad I did. I was initially disappointed with her small backside, but overall it's very nice, and I really like blondes.

I managed to get the regular in pristine condition from a seller in Poland for about $200 a few months ago through ebay. For some strange reason I couldn't find the add in ebay using a PC but it would come up with my ipod touch.

Just wish I had the ex head too as I'd like to pose her with that head once in awhile.

And in behind I have the comic that they took the she-hulk art from. But Ms. Marvel is awesome. Anyone who is iffy, don't be. The ex is of course my choice because it's a swap out portrait. But even if you have the regular, it's better than nothing.

This is probably one of the best female Sideshow PFs I've seen. I did like Darth Talon though too. Pyslocke, Baroness and Jessica Rabbit all look pretty promising too.

I would say wait until the SS DC heroes come out coz the more likely will happen is that with batman,superman, wonder woman coming out at price tags of $350 many would sell their Ms Marvel and Talon and whatever else to get the new ones. And since more and more sellers don't wanna ship internationally the price will go lower and lower because the bidders are less everyday than yesterday. Yeah, the eBay's security policy to protect the sellers helps the price to drop.

Doubt price with go lower ,Ms marvel is a main character for any marvel collector add the fact its 1/4 and came out epic prices will only go up in time! With ss qc lately who knows if we are ever going to get stautes that came out as great as this !

I don't have this piece nor do I plan on getting it but I gotta agree with that statement. With the QC where it is on the Marvel side of Sideshow, past releases will only continue to rise in price. Hopefully Sideshow turns it around.
