I was thinking yesterday that... considering how bigger than 1/4 scale Lion-O was, Mumm-Ra is going to be ridiculously massive!! !!!
Maybe even closer to 1/3 scale?...

For the base I wanted something that was equal to Lion-O's and it seemed kind of boring to just make another big chunk of rock...so I thought the skull worked well since it was such an important aspect of Mumm Ra's lair.

Definitely a great choice... instantly recognizable base

I like the choice in base. It gives the piece some distinction. I would like the pose to look more dynamic. Mumm-ra looks like he's just standing in a stiff position.

Saw this quote by Jerry on Statue Forum about Mumm-Ra.

Still waiting to get the digital output back from China. They are pretty far behind on getting it to me...annoying.

Once I get it then off to paint and clothing...though its pretty easy for Mumm Ra so he should be ready in January to show

With space a bigger issue now than ever before it looks like I am only gonna grab one Thundercats item in 1/4, so I'll probably hold out for Panthro. Lion O is likely to get the ax.

Mumm-Ra should be released around May/June while the 3rd Thundercat piece will be Sept/Oct. Will be either Cheetara or Panthro.
