Her is my first attempt at making a custom Hulk figure. He stands almost 16 inched tall. I used the stretch and roar hulk upper body, hollowed it out and slipped it over a Marvel Masterpiece Legends Sentinel figure from TRU. I used the Marvel Icons feet and calves because of the articulation. I then tried to sew a pair of jeans but my skills are a bit lacking in that department. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

It's a pretty strong silicone rubber material. It slipped pretty easily over the sentinel figure with some aquaphor.

No. Not hard at all. It just had some bean bags to pull out. The hands and head had a really tough piece of plastic and white rubber to pull out but I wore it down. The only other thing I had to do was shave down the sentinel forearms and trim a bit off the inside of the hulk wrists so it would fit properly.

Wow. This turned out awesome. Great work. Might have to do it myself.

Cool. If you have any other ideas for details or parts let me know. It would be really cool to collaborate with folks here on what looks best. Kind of a combined effort for this forum.

Yes. Although I'm not sure how to paint silicone rubber. I do want to lighten him up, add some real hair, and more details to the jeans.

I was just wondering if there was a cheaper and better suited body out there to use for the skeleton, even if it's just one of those wooden stick figures like you see at the art store. Guess it depends on how tight the joints need to be. Also would be nice to find some legs for him somewhere so he can have his knees exposed.

I like your idea. I wish I could have found a cheaper body instead of ruining a perfectly good $50.00 Sentinel. Which is actually pretty cool by the way. I'm a huge xmen fan as well and it was a tough decision but I ripped the bandaid off and went for it. I was on a mission. I think the exposed knees would be a great option. Maybe I could sand and paint the legs so I can interchange the pants with shorts. The stiffness of the joints is great on the sentinel. And the thickness on the thighs is proportionate to the rest of the body. This is one heavy figure. The sentinel out of the box is heavy even after removing the batteries. I'm just glad the joints on the icons feet ate stiff enough and can actually hold up the weight of the whole figure.

I just like the Ed norton version where it looks like he is wearing capris instead of shorts. If you find another frame or legs let me know.

I thought initially of the Icons Hulk figure, but he's kind of stubby. Going to have to think on that for a moment....

Yeah. The icons figure is decent if it was taller. His arms are only a little short and the legs and torso are severely lacking. I actually used the icons feet and calves for their articulation.
