Hey Michael, are you planning to do a Mark 5 review? I've always enjoyed reading your reviews for a few years now and would love to hear you thoughts on that one, even though I've already owned the figure.

He's sitting here, and I've had several requests since I used him in the last couple comparison shots. Odds are pretty good I will, although it might not be for a week or two.

Yes, the neck is a separate peice from the body, so it pops right off the ball joint inside the torso. The fit isn't tight on mine at all, so everytime I pose it, it comes loose. Like I said in the review, not a deal breaker but more annoying than it should be.

Wrap the ball with teflon tape or give it a couple coats of nail polish, let it dry and pop it back on to tighten the joint.

Have to admit he's next on my list too... I've got to complete my full powersuit review line-up... especially as its my favourite (after the MK I) from the movies!

Again great review Michael on Cap! The production piece looks as good as the prototype. Also saw your review on the Reeve Superman. Fantastic ,a real tribute to the man.( have both on order)

I suspect it's on your end with your malware software, Shocktrooper_au. Nothing reported on my end, and I haven't heard of any other readers having that problem. Also, Google does a pretty good job keeping up on that, and it hasn't reported any issues to me. Occasional false positives seem to be more and more the norm these days with most malware packages. But if others start seeing something please let me know.

Excellent review as always. I'm not an uber-fan of the movie or character but was going to pick this figure up for pure awesomeness. For me personally it falls a tad short on what the proto promised, so I'm happy to save cash that's sorely needed at this time of year.

I'll still get it, i dont really want it as much now as when I first saw it, but I guess i'll still want it for my avengers collection. Might sell it later.

I have to agree with you on the loss of Chris Evans in the sculpt from the proto pics. I imagine the Avenger's Cap will have a Roger's head and more accurate sculpt so everyone who bought the first Cap will go out and replace it. :gah:

I wonder, why Hot Toys decided to change the sculpt, when the prototype was so much better. Does anyone else suspect, that there were possible underlying legal problems with Chris Evans, who didn't want to sell the rights to his likeness?

By the way, thanks for the review, Mr. Crawford. Cap was my most anticipated figure for this year, but it certainly falls short of what I was expecting.
