The women that are with men who make WoW playing a serious relationship issue, probably aren't much to look at, and are therefore not much of a distraction...just saying :lol

I'm betting that ain't it at all. Video games to some people are addicting. And if these guys married these women, they must've loved them.

you ever see the Intervention episode of the guy who is addicted to video games. it's on youtube. he has this beautiful blond wanting to go out with him. she was actually almost begging him to take her out, but no he was too busy playing video games. it was actually very pathetic.

In situations like that I like to try and scratch the surface of what could possibly be the problem and not take it at face value. I reminds me of some words of wisdom I heard from someone some where " no matter how good she looks there is someone, some where that is sick of her bull____" lol

I play video games...and like everything I think it's okay to do it in moderation....especially if you have a spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend. If you are more interested in your video games than your partner, then perhaps you shouldn't be in a relationship.

Sexy.....:lol

Nothing wrong with gaming and being married. You just can't play several hours a night while your wife does everything else.

Now I'm not married, but I can also say that if my wife expected me to watch Glee or Dancing with the Stars then we will have a problem without the gaming LOL. No way I'm sitting through that crap.

In some cases that's true, but in the case that fear is talking about, this guy was just plain addicted. The games were like a drug.

I truly can see how the games get addicting. Especially once you get to the multiplayer online mode. When I finally started playing Uncharted 2 online, I couldn't stop. But you do have to draw a line. If you're not spending time with your spouse/partner, then you need to figure your s--- out.

My wife and I use to play Everquest 5+ hours a night when we were first married; it was all good because we played together. However, she stopped raiding once we had our first child and quit completely after the 2nd. It started causing bickering when I would sit on the PC raiding while she was working her ass off and going off little sleep. I uninstalled EQ and have been pretty happy since.

We both agree that it was fun and once our kids get older we will probably play online games again (the new Star Wars game looks fun), there is no way I would toss my marriage away over a video game.
