It's hard for me to really judge size as I don't own either of the two comparison pieces (I would gladly kill for the Balrog, and the FB never appealed to me due to the incredibly poor ML mounted upon it). I'm curious, for those of you who have it, is it worth the price tag? I'm still on the fence, most notably because of the pose that has proven a deciding factor against this for many collectors.

For the most part, people who ordered it already think it's a keeper, myself included. It's got so many details that amaze me.

Yup, just got mine today and I'm damned pleased with it. I think it's pretty amazing all the detail in it and the size of it is amazing as well. It's well worth the price IMO.

Congrats Robo. I believe you'll really enjoy it when you get to see it.

On another note I also got my PJ statue today as well.

Thanks for the advance warning on the Mumak! I got mine today, but I won't be unwrapping him anytime soon, until he gets to a more permanent home! He looks great, and I checked for breakage, but otherwise, that baby elephant is staying in the box for now! Thanks again for the warning on unpacking this beast

Mine will be here on Thursday (coming from the Godfather). :joy

On another note, I really hope it fits in the space I have reserved for it. :sick

After this comes, only 2 more SS/W pieces at absolute most for me (unless the Balrog and CT ever hit the $1k range).

I'm most likely be getting Legolas and Gimli on Arod, then I'd like to go back and get the Stone Trolls as my Grail to finish the line. Then I'll finish the SS/W display (almost there) and begin the 1/4 journey.

Here's what I had to do to keep all the packaging in order should I need to repackage the darn thing up again.

Ohh . . .on another note, the base on mine seems to have been cast improperly. Mine wobbles to and fro. Anybody else have my problem?

When I move I'll just leave him outta the box and hold him as I ride with someone to my new place. When that day comes that is.

My base is a little wobbly as well Rad. Not bad but a little.

You know you guys are really not making it easy on me. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to order this. Fortunately the Godfather hasn't made me an offer I can refuse. :wacky

Plus it's all Rad's fault if I do. I was not planning on getting PJ Corsair either but he forced me. Why am I such a sucker for a deal? :D

You'll like both Fritz. They are pieces I'm totally glad to have gotten into my SSW collection.

Got my Mumak today. #'d 153/3,000

I love this piece. Fritz go and get it. :D

That is one of those statues that just doesn't get enough attention. I love it, and it is a great tribute to PJ.:joy

I agree. It's pretty cool. It's one of the races of ME and at the same time a nice thank you to the man who brought LOTR to life for all to see.

The only thing I'm disappointed about with the Mumak (besides the pose of course) is that the SS site lists the height as 11", but it's 2-3" taller than that. The shelf I was going to put it on can accomodate sculpts that are about 11.75" tall or less. It doesn't fit, and I'm going to have to find a new place for it. :(

With space in my collection at a premium, I possibly wouldn't have ordered this piece if the height was listed correctly. It is a cool sculpt, though.

Well, that's gotta be a first with this piece. Someone complaining about it being too big. LOL I believe everyone complained about it being too small. Imagine if it was standing up LOL.:wacky

No, it's not that, but the fact that I ordered it with the intention of it going in a certain place. I don't have a place for it now that will look right. I'll take some pics at some point, since it is hard to explain. Putting it on it's own shelf doesn't fit my display in a way that I'm happy with.

I wish it was MUCH bigger, actually. Then it could be displayed by itself and not look silly. It's too small to have it's own shelf, IMO.

So it's almost 14" tall? That means I'm going to have to rethink my display strategy for it as well. I have a space reserved next to my Haradrim for the Mumak, but the shelf will only hold up to 13" (and that just barely).

I have the same issue as well. I'm glad I found out about this before I ordered one. Can someone give us an actual height from bottom of the base to the highest point?
