Mystery SDCC Swag worth getting?

I certainly hope so. I don't mind just getting a $15 giftcard but they shouldn't be charging me an extra $20 in shipping if the giftcard is the only thing I am getting.

Personally, I'd give their customer service center a call. No harm in finding out what's going on. The value of the free swag should be at least equal to the cost to ship the item. Otherwise, what's the point?

Using a $75 off coupon from this awesome board, I ordered the last EX Anakin w/ Rotta 1:6 off SSC. They asked me if I wanted the free SDCC Swag, and I clicked yes. That raised my estimated shipping for $8.31 to $20.00.

Considering I have never seen or participated in this promotion before, I'm not certain that the "mystery swag" is worth an extra $12 to me.

Is anyone else getting the "mystery swag"? Do you think it's worth it?

I got a Hanes shirt from the dead (No thanks), a worthless plastic bag and a mini Jack Sparrow Cosbaby. I paid an extra 12 bucks to selling one thing on ebay for 4 bucks.

My Shrine of Dragon has been delivered and I'll pick it up within the next couple of hours-- but-- I just noticed that after using my GC I was left with only $14.99... and yet it still says I got the free swag and the weight of the box is 9.9 lbs while the Shrine is said to be 6 lbs... Hmmm... Guess I'll find out in a bit.

I don't know, the invoices I receive by e-mail are right on the money in terms of final billed price and shipping costs. I always go by that and not by what is pending in my account, which is always more than it actually is.

I ordered a Sideshow T-Shirt yesterday and was offered the Swag. Hopefully the shirt will get here before I leave for SDCC next week

Edit - just noticed that the shirt will not be enough to qualify.

But I did order a DTK Mort and forgot to check the box then so maybe they will send me the swag now
