Really? RHCP to me are the one band who have actually evolved. Their music is always changing, listen to their first and their last albums. Some songs have a similar sound, but in terms of their collective careers, they are as diverse a rock band as I think exist.

What does Bodie hate more than rap?.. Silly white boys who try and act ghetto because they listen rap music.. I have one of these who lives a couple doors down here in the "ghetto" of South Redondo Beach who lives in his mom's beautiful large house behind a lovely rose garden....

I'd like to go over there and show him how tough he isn't..

I know Nasedo took it as a personal afront to his musical tastes, but it's just meant to be a fun thread to vent on the one band that you can't stand. The one that makes you turn the station whenever you hear one of their songs. You don't have to justify or defend your pick. I'm just curious to see what you freaks strongly dislike. That's all. It's not an attack on ************ if someone dislikes your favorite band. I love U2, but it doesn't upset (or shock) me to read that other people don't. Big deal. So carry on please.....

Also,Pretty much anything that is called ''punk'' by todays standard is just poseur shat....

This thread took a quick dive...if someone doesn't like a band...its no reason to jump down their throat (NASEDO)...thank God we are all different. And who the hell watches MTV anymore?

Not I! All MTV and VH1 are anymore are reality tv. And bad reality tv at that! I don't know why bands bother releasing videos anymore. Where are they played other than youtube?

I take each song one at a time. I can hate the band, but like the song.

I'm pretty diverse in my musical tastes. I like all kinds of music. Doesn't matter how old or new it is. My brothers are alot older than me and I listened to alot of their music when I was little. Plus my parents and grandparents music. I love anything from Glenn Miller to Chuck Berry to The Beatles to Led Zeppelin to Metallica to RHCP to Linklin Park and everything in-between. Hair bands, boy bands, even some of the sucky girls singing today. If the song is good, it's good. I'm sure there's a Jonas Brothers song out there I'd probably like. Bless 'em that they're making good money doing something they love.
