Just got on the WL for the Exclusive. It's grown on me too, and I'm prety confident it will convert.

2 months ago there were 17 waiting to be converted. I think many will cancel once they get their pre-ship notice. The overall excitement for this piece is just not there. Many don't seem to dig classic characters as this. It's all about Iron Man, Hulk, Spidey, Cap and Wolverine.

I am gonna hold on to him. IMO, no one will be buying the regular. So it's as if the ES is only 350.

Um, it's because SS hasn't ventured out much. This is why several members here are starting to convert over to Bowen.

it is for sure people like popular characters, however, I believe the excitement is not there with namor because of a bad sculpt, bad teeth..etc. I have Bowen's black armor Namor and that's the ultimate namor face and body scult imo

I think the anatomy is good but the "Pablo teeth" (even though is not a Pablo piece) kind of brings the overall feel down a bit.

I agree that 350 is the "real" ES since, just like Classic IM comiquette, the exclusive is the only way to go.

Now, I will stand corrected and same some "elite of the elite" pieces (ie Grey Hulk Dio, SSE Dios, and those with EXTREMELY low ESs,) but other than that, I can't name one that hasn't.

I've seen Captain, Hulk, Thing, Elektra, and pretty much ANY Marvel Exclusive PF (Doom included) on Ebay for cheaper than retail at some point or another. And in terms of Marvel comiquettes, I've seen every Exclusive at a cheaper price with the exception of the IM Exclusive.

That just seems to be the way the market goes on these pieces and I'm sure this piece will be no exception. Now, that's nothing again Sideshow and whenever I can, I will buy through Sideshow especially when the piece is infamous for paint app. issues.

Yeah people are only aware of the popular characters (ones with movies) but I'm not sure if the casual fan is buying these sculpts to the degree that die hard fans are. A limited edition will make this piece more attractive even if the character is not well known to the public in general. The Marvel Universe is big indeed with tons of characters to choose from. If Sideshow produced a large volumn of characters you might see your favorite but at the rate they are being produced you'll never see any but the most famous. Second and 3rd tier characters will never get produced by Sideshow unless they where in a movie.

Na, on the 16th or 17th I think. I'm on it for the exc, but if it doesnt convert, I'll get one from e-bay.
Same goes for the Iron SM exc.

sht even later than that. my WL converted for my sabretooth lsb almost a month after they had been shipped out, of course by then i had already secured one from a fellow freak.

Yeah, probably. But I need to know the shipping cost.
I guess I'll just ask SS when these ship.
