Great job Nate. Those boot "uppers" turned out nice. We'll see about getting that remaining gear for you:wink1:

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Thanks man, although I did not realize until very late in the build that his boots are in fact NOT boots at all. They're sandals.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Haha! Holy crap you're right! They could pass for a pair of high top Air Jesus's.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

I've been busy and haven't posted anything new in a while. I finished up my Lando finally. Still not happy with the boots/sandals. I'll come back someday. I also revisited my deathstar trooper (Navy Trooper) for the 3rd time and gave him a new head, belt and boots. Here's a few crappy pics :)

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Nothing we haven't seen before but I'm glad he is now in my collection...Admiral Ozzel :)

Sideshow Vinyl cap repainted Field Grey to match uniform (looks better in person but would still prefer a soft one)
Wilhelm Keitel head
Heavily modified TT knowckoff body
Home made fat suit
Home made code cylinders
Hasbro Uniform
DID boots
Handmade pleather belt (the little "adjustment nub" beside the buckle is a round headed push pin)
Belt buckle and rank insignia from Duane - Thanks!
BBI Glove Hands

He stands just under 12" without the cap. Michael Sheard is 5' 10" so its perfect.

I'll get some better pics tomorrow. Its late.

your Admiral looks fantastic and I really like your lando!

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Ozzel is looking awesome man. I may know a guy that can hook you up with a soft cap. ;)
After all my Tarkin shan't be needing it.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Oh yeah? I was supposed to get a vinyl one from this Tyler guy, but ... :lol

If you have a soft one thats even better. The power supply is ready to go.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

Looking good Nate! Didn't know you were doing Ozzel…he came out great

Thanks everyone. I got a few more Imps in the pipeline. Still working on Ventress and I started over on Ahsoka. Yes...Tarkin is coming too :)

Still working on Ventress

I started over on Ahsoka. I decided her "phase II" outfit is beyond my skill level, plus I plan to display her with Anakin and Obiwan (who are in their "phase I" outfits so I figured I'd make an Ahsoka Phase I which is much simpler.

Yes...Tarkin is coming too. He's all done except the head painting.

Still gotta finish Jabba's throne too. Ahhhhh!

After all these, I think I might take a little break and try my hand at some custom stands/mini dioramas or something.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

I myself am wanting to make a little mini diorama to simulate Felucia since I just picked up another Commander Bly that I'm going to convert into another 327th trooper.

That could be tricky. Lots of strange plants to recreate.

Hey, I figure if I can recreate Pandora, I should be able to handle Felucia. The plant life is just as bizarre. haha

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! ARC-5555 Page 16

I told you I started a Scout Trooper...aproximately 2 weeks before SSC announced theirs :( Blah blah blah! Who wants pictures? :)

Fun fact: This is the first figure I actually used the thigh muscle attachments that come with the TT bodies. His legs looked really scrawny otherwise.

Yes Spidey this is the all BLACK one I bought off you a while back.
