Yeah! Tarkin looks impresive! You're right Outlander, I think the neck is a little long

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Great customs... loving the start of Ventress

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Thanks man, but she's being a biotch lately so I said fine sit there half naked then, see if I care! :)

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Some progress pics. AT-AT commander is coming along and I started Ahsoka's lightsaber.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Looks promising so far. I like that you made the cylinder thingie on the back of the helmet…very nice touch.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Forgot to post some pics of this guy.

Just a generic Imperial Lieutenant. Nobody specific.

Hasbro uniform
DID head
TT knowckoff body heavily modified
DID boots
buckle boxes and rank insignia from Duane - Thanks!
belt = Pleather
Holster = scratch built
Code cylinders = styreene rods and such
Blaster - Luke DL-44 with scope removed. No telephone cord though :)

I like the details on the AT-AT Commander helmet. Nice job.

It amazes me how good you can get the Hasbro Imperial outfits to look, super stuff man

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

I think so. Even though the back always ends up looking mashed, but its in the back so... :meh:
At least the AT-AT commander has armor to cover most of it, so I'll probably pose him more dynamically :)

The think that always bugged me about the SSC uniforms was the shoulder flap. It just sticks out--or up I should say-- like a sore thumb. Then again I've never actually held one in my hands.

Yea, the flaps are not the best. I have removed the velcro from the flaps on a couple of my SSC officer suits and added a dab of glue to hold them down. They sit much lower.

Great work on that Imperial Lieutenant, I love the detail you put into each of your pieces and Ahsoka's saber is coming along fantastic. Thanks again for the heads up and tips on your Ahsoka I got the body and ordered the head so far.

Thanks!
Good to soon have another Ahsoka. I look forward to seeing your progress. I am almost at the painting stage but I'm not looking forward to it. Female eyes, complex face markings, rubber torso, the list goes on... Worst part of this hobby...NO UNDO BUTTON! :)

I also could not find any boots or shoes that would work. They are either too big or too small or just wrong all together, so I made some feet. They're not pretty, but they work.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Love the work on the ATST diver Natedog and Asokas sober is looking fanchuffintastic!

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Ahsoka's saber is done and she's ready for paint after I clean up some of the injection spots.

Any tips for doing her face markings? My plan was to start with a white base coat, then attempt to mask off the areas and then do the orange. They're pretty small and intricate though so I'm not confident I can do it that way. I suppose I can always go back after and cut back any areas that need it. Still...any thoughts?
