game 1 may be the most important game in the series for LA to win cause they dont want to lose home court

I would be ecstatic with a split to start the series. Win at least one in LA, come home and win 2 would be my guess.

Of course they'll probably just get swept. it's the doom and gloom feeling I'm still carrying after the Bruins collapse.

they're the best defensive team in the playoffs so far, i defn dont see a sweep happening, but i look at LA's record when they win the first game, somethin like 47-0 or somethin, so Boston needs to take the 1st. Some ppl dont believe in stats like that, but that is a big one.

No doubt game 1 is pivotal.

Thinking about various aspects of the series one thing, I worry about is LA dominating the boards, especially with the possibility of a suspension for Perk always looming.

Either way, should be a GREAT Finals unlike the clunker last year...

I'm tired of hearing Phil _____ about every other team to try and get an advantage with the refs cause he knows his team is soft. That full needs to STFU for real............I do find it interesting that almost everyone media wise is picking LA, I guess defense doesnt matter anymore . I'm curious if Kobe will be able to score 30pts a game in this series.

Artest on Pierce could get interesting, there is no one in the game that does more flopping and acting than Pierce.

Artest is the perfect defender for peirce.. I like how he pants Peirce when he played w/ the Pacers..

Kobe proved he is number 1 w/ anyone else in a distance 2nd.. LeBron can french kiss my ass, he's concerned about his Label, not winning rings like Kobe..

Bynum is manning up and giving us his body..

Fish should be open for set shots as Rondo 1/2 way defends him to help on Kobe..

thats why i called their team soft; as a group they are soft, 3 players doesnt change anything, thats why Phil has to complain before the series starts that Boston is too rough down low. Artest is prolly gonna be the make or break for this series. I dont think he can guard Pierce as well as Lebron, but prolly better than most others. Bynum's knee will be an issue for them, so when Odom comes in, KG will nolify him the same he did with Jamison and Lewis. It will also be interesting who is gonna chase Allen around all those screens...........
