Caught on a bad night, Suns played like crap, all of them. After 5 straight games on the road, and a back to back the night before I guess it was inevitable. It was a pretty sad performance considering the lakers didnt play their best ball either.

The lakers have it easy, 3 days off and 17 games of their first 21 at home? i guess the NBA loves their sweethearts. seriously, can you baby a team any more than that?

No excuses.

If we had lost, you didn't want to hear that we didn't have Pau either.

dont tell me you wouldnt have said you didnt have Pau if you guys lost. even bodie was man enough to admit he would :lol

im not making any excuses. i said they played like crap. look at the numbers, terrible. i dont equate that to the Lakers' defense at all. The Suns offense was just not there. amongst other facts such as the 5 game road trip, back to back games the previous night before, playing in LA, and the cherry on top being LA had 3 days off prior.

You guys get handed so many things every season it's unreal. now this season you get a ridiculous amount of home games the first 1/3rd of the season? it's a joke.

there's benefits to being the champs.......:monkey3

well look, when you have the drawing power of the Lakers, they draw the biggest crowds in every town they go, then they probably do get things that other teams don't but let's be real the Lakers are very important to the NBA.

yeah, Sacramento learned that the hard way :duh :lol

WTH are you talking about man?? Please tell us what you mean by we get handed so many things? I'm very interested to read your explanation...

well if i recall the Lakers always have the most road games in the
2nd half of the season (which is worse then having a bunch of road games at the begining of the season) so i don't see how they are handed anything.

everyone ends of with the same amount of road games.

You guys got Fisher for nothing, Gasol for NOTHING, now you get 21 home games in the first 3rd of the season.

Shatterer I completely disagree that having road games at the end of the season being worse than before. Working out your offense and defense and get everything top notch is what every team goes through in the beginning of the season. What better time to do it than being on your home court 90% of the time.

Ill im not taking anything away from Lakers' win. All I said was Suns played like absolute crap. look at the boxscore and tell me differently. and I dont think you can say that the Lakers defense shut down the Suns' offense. It just was not there last night and they were making a lot of uncharacteristic turn overs and missed shots.

1/2 of its timing. were the suns on the second half of a back to back? thats tough to do against a top team. tonight the lakers are on the back to back and getting killed.

yes prog, that's what i said too. they litterly just had a 5 game roady, and played the lakers the night after they demolished the hornets, and it was @ LA with LA having 3 days off prior. that's like the whole deck stacked against you.

But lakers won and suns lost. thats all there is to it. we'll meet up 2 more times this year anyway.

And yeah, ironically I can imagine the laker fans feeling like I did last night by watching them get blown out by the Nugs.
