And Doc Rivers comes back to coach KG, Rondo, Baby and well who knows?

I'm guessing next year is going to be rough.:gah:

I forsee the East being about the same in strength next season, but I see the West possibly getting a little weaker, and easier for LA to get through. The only 2 obstacles for LA at this point I think would be OKC and Portland. If Portland is healthy next year, they will be a very dangerous team.

Anybody else think Atl is just :cuckoo: for signing a overrated Johnson for over $100 million; its not 100% yet, but it looks like thats whats gonna happen. I have been watching SC 24/7 waiting for something big to go down; I think we will know where most of the top guys will be by monday at the latest. I'm very excited to see whats gonna happen with Cle, Chi, and Miami.

Yup. That is crazy, because eno one else was offering that much but they outbid themselves. Reminds me of the contract the Knicks gave Allan Houston. I was a huge fan of Houston, but when a franchise outbids themselves to get a player, you know the front office is stupid.

Unfortunately that's the nature of the game. I don't think Bosh or Amar'e are max contract players either, but they both will get max contracts.

Any reason why no no one signed yet?
I guess they are all waiting on LBJ??

Yep, if LBJ goes to Chicago, its almost a given Bosh will go there as well. I'm thinking LBJ stays and Bosh goes to Miami, and Boozer goes to Chicago, leaving Amare in NY, NJ, or someone does a sign and trade for him. Just a guess..............

Bulls trade Hinrich and #17 pick to Wizards for practically nobody. They now have room for 2 max contract players :horror. Imagine......Bosh, Lebron, Rose, Noah in that staring line up :panic:

Would love that lineup or Wade in there too (who by the way is meeting AGAIN with the Bulls tonight). This type of lineup makes us title contenders next year without a doubt.

quite the line up but even with that line up there is no dominate center and they'll need that to compete with the west.

We didn't have a dominate Center in any of our 6 titles before. Noah is probably better than any of them really. Well, Longley was pretty good for the Triangle. So its ok to not have someone dominant in the middle. I think Noah could handle Bynum (thats if he's healthy).

Lakers asking Fisher to take less $ than what they signed S.Blake for :lol. Bye bye Fisher and Farmar?

New rumor is Wade is getting serious about signing with the Bulls. Also that those three end up in Chicago now. Would be great if it happens but I don't know.

Not possible, Chi only has room for 2. I just dont see Wade goin to Chi when he would rather stay in Miami. I think at this point, there is 0% chance Lebron and Wade end up playing together anywhere though........

Actually it is possible. Supposedly they have a deal to trade Deng which free based on his # from last year 10million. They already have 29 million in cap space. So if they signed James and Wade then traded Deng for Bosh that would do it.

Will it happen. Nah probably not but its fun to ponder. If any of these guys want to win now I honestly believe Chicago is the place. We just have way too good a young roster. The thing is do any of these players have the guts to go play in the shadow of Michael Jordan?

It doesnt have anything to do with Jordans shadow. I think Lebron wont leave cause that is his home town and he doesnt want to be despised amongst every Cle fan for the rest of his life when he returns home. Wade already has a title and Chi is his home town, so he doesnt lose much by making the move, but I would put $ up that they dont play together anywhere. All Lebron has to do is win 1 title in Cle, and he will be seen as a God in Cle for the rest of his life with a statue in front of the arena.

yeah, just saw it on SC...........I dont think Amare can get you guys to the playoffs if he averaged 30pts a game :dunno, but neither will the Suns

Nope. I frequent a few Knicks forums and from what I'm hearing, the more I'm agreeing with the notion that he will become another McDyess.

He's injury prone, plays defense whenever he feels like it, and lacks hustle.

In other words, a perfect Knick.

:slap

as much as i like amare, im relieved to see him go. hopefully the suns can grow from this but only if they get some real bigs. Not sure why they signed Frye to a $30mil contract.
