What Bigs are avail aside from Bosh.. Boozer who is undersized?..

Amare is a great scorer, but he didnt work hard on the boards..

Will be interesting to see how they fill that big hole in the big man category..

My prediction.. Lebron stays and Wade stays.. Why? 30 million dollars that the other teams can't pay.. With that said, Bosh goes to Miami or Chicago.

Looking forward to another Boston/Lakers finals next year..

LOL @ Chicago and NY

Not seeing this happening to be honest.. Maybe Bosh and thats it.

All three yeah is a total longshot but I very much could see 2 of the three ending up there. We have the bet roster with the absolute best upside. We get 2 of those three and we become a title contender next year.

All depends on if these guys value winning as much as that extra 30 million.

Haywood, B.Miller, Shaq to name the ones off the top of my head.

I'm not sure why yur writing off so many things so fast. Nobody knows what LBJ is thinking and wants except him. NY is for sure :lol though. Boston is a year older and Kobe has already started breaking down physically, so lets talk when All Star break comes next year............

Kobe played injured all year. He hasnt rested in so long due to his off season activities like the Olympics.. He should come back fresh..

Sure there's a chance these guys can still move, yet I see a greater chance of them staying put. I can see Wade leaving more so than LeBron as Miami's roster is really bad. Even though these guys haveTONS of money 30mill is big. LeBron has too deep roots in Cleveland. I see Wade and Bosh teaming up either in Miami or the smarter choice Chicago.

Also Haywood, B miller and Shaq (lol) are HUGE downgrades in contrast to Amare. PHO needs to do something, yet not too sure what.

Blake is a great addition. Fish will be back I assure you. Farmar won't really be missed.

I understand we are looking at Tony Allen and Raja Bell. Defense baby...:hi5:

Typical Flaker fan. You guys diss the ____ out of players when theyre not on your team but once they get on your team they are the best thing since sliced bread. same thing happened with artest and now bell? You guys had no respect for either of them when they were your opposition, now all of a sudden they are great. :lol give me a break. you guys are just as superficial as all those plastic surgery ridden chicks in your city.

Would love that lineup or Wade in there too (who by the way is meeting AGAIN with the Bulls tonight). This type of lineup makes us title contenders next year without a doubt.

We didn't have a dominate Center in any of our 6 titles before. Noah is probably better than any of them really. Well, Longley was pretty good for the Triangle. So its ok to not have someone dominant in the middle. I think Noah could handle Bynum (thats if he's healthy).

well it's not the 90's and you need a center now. Look at all the champioships in the 2000's the teams all have big centers. You can't compare what happened years ago to what happens now.

:lol bitter much? I love how you always stereotype Lakers fans which makes a typical Lakers hater. I guess all us basketball lovers are all stereotypical aren't we?

You're correct its not the 90's but you don't need a mega center to win it all and the last Bulls title came in 98 thats not that far off the 2000's. Those Bulls teams though would still fair quite well in today's NBA and win at least the 6 they have now.

The lakers had Shaq in his prime who is one of the most dominant centers ever. He's a totally rare exception though. Those titles came in the early part of the decade 2000-02

The Spurs had two big guys. Both who are over 7ft and hall of famers. Hard to beat that combo really. Though Robinson never won anything till he had Duncan. Duncan has done well since but he had a heck of a good team around him.

Detroit got a title in there and got back without a dominant center. Wallace was a solid D guy but thats it. He's kind of like Noah but Noah is better on the Offensive end.

Miami with Wade won. They had Shaq but he wasn't all that dominant anymore.

Boston in 08 didn't have a dominant Center. They had the big 3 and a team that played together.

Take the last two LA teams. Gasol is a PF and he's a very good player but I wouldn't call him dominant. He can be at times but a lot of the times he's a bit soft. Bynum can't stay healthy enough to be dominant.

So if the Bulls get 2/3 guys with the roster they have plus a couple other small additions they will have no problems winning a few rings. Having a big like Shaq back in the day is nice and all but you can win and beat teams like that. Detroit did.

Oh please, like you wouldn't do the same ____ if a former Laker went to the Suns. That's pretty much every fan in the NBA. You hate a guy one season and if he's on your team you love him the next. You can get off your high horse now.

:exactly: :goodpost:

but those teams still had a big in the center that clogs up the lane. even if they are not scoring don't under estimate the presence in the middle, it makes it had to get to the rim. Boston had a big in the middle when they won, and don't tell me he didn't have an impact on that series. his physical play got to the Lakers, who didn't have their big that year. Other than Detroit (who honestly i forgot about) all the teams had someone in the middle.

I'm not trying to take away anything that Chicago did back in the day but the game is in a different cycle right now and right now you need a big. Boston, LA, Orlando......the last 3 teams to play for a championship in the past 3 years all have a big man in the center.

that's sports in general, you are not supposed to like your opposition. that being said when has anyone in here said that either one of those two players sucked?

They had a big guy to clog the middle. Don't underestimate Noah though. He's only a 3 year guy and averaged a double/double last year. Had several games of 20+ rebounds. As he continues to put weight on and develop he'll be a clogger. Boston's guys did but look at that roster. They're not dominant Perkins, Pollard, PJ Brown, and Davis. They beat LA up inside thats why.

I understand. The league is a bit different but not that different. Plus if the Bulls get 2/3 guys they have the type of roster that you're talking about.

Now we just gotta get 2/3 of them to sign. :lol

Dominate was probably the wrong word to use but a physical big is important right now if you want to compete with the west. Noah got those stats going up mainly against the east. Also not taking anything away from noah, he plays hard but does he have a double double against Howard?

:lol yeah good luck with that. i think Chicago could have screwed themselves when they said "organizations win champioships not players" some people have a hard time swallowing that.

Physical would probably work. Though I think the strength is about to shift back to the east. Well, he plays in the east so it would make sense. He had a double/double 2-3 times against Boston, once against LA with the other game him having 20rebs, and lots of other double doubles. I see only one game against Orlando. He was just coming off being hurt and only played 18 mins.

Well, that was said back in the 90's. :lol Though I still hate Krause for saying that and breaking up one of the best teams ever. You should thank him though. He did help send Phil your way. :lol

negative bro. if fisher, gasol, or vujacic ever went to the suns i'd still hate the ____ out of them. Youve seen me post many times how much I respect Kobe even when he kills the suns so yeah if he went to the suns id be all over it.

it's a long thread but sort through bodie and ill's posts and im sure you'll find it.

Not liking your opposition is different than saying that a certain player sucks or is a joke. When Bell was with the Suns all I heard was how over rated of a defender he is. Now all of a sudden because the Lakers are looking to pick him up, he's going to be a great addition for your "defense"? :lol
