Sorry Bodie. I'm quite happy to be a Chicago Bulls fan. Wouldn't want to be a Lakers fan for nothing.

I'll like them as much now as I did then, before that, and will forever. I'm in for the long haul.

So whats plan B for Chi if LeBron and Wade stay put? Which is more likely than not IMO.

Boozer I think is part of Plan B. Which I like the guy. He plays hard and would be a nice addition. I'm not totally against a Wade/Boozer combo over Bosh.

I agree those two coming is a long shot. Which I thought was the case all along. As I've said its a nice dream but these guys aren't gonna pass up the money (no matter how much they say they want to win) and IMO I think its gonna take someone special to want to go up against Jordan's shadow. As much as I get annoyed with Kobe he's really about one of the only guys I know of that has what it takes to step into Chicago and go after it.

I truly think you could have had Kobe if management was willing to throw in Deng. Pretty funny in retrospect.

I think Bosh goes wherever Wade decides to go. If Wade wants to have a better chance he should go to his true hometown. But he's established and can make 30 million more so.....

Celtics looking to get Shaq?:gah: Unless Danny Ainge has a special Delorean to switch him out with the 1999 version of the guy, I'm just not interested.

Yup, how things could have been. :;p;

I agree on all counts. There is nothing in Miami right now even if Bosh or Boozer go with him. I've seen the two guys they have on the roster play in person. Not all that much to right home about. :lol

The more I think about it, LBJ's best move is going to NY now that they have Amare.

NY - only increase his celebrity and fame to stroke his ego and his huge payday from Nike

The Yankees are gods in New York and I think LBJ is trying become the same. Who cares if your a god in Cleveland, he competes with Bernie Kosar lololol

The Yankees are gods cause they have been buying titles since the beginning of time :lol. NY has had terrible management for the longest time, and adding Amare does nothing. The only reason Amare likes NY is cause he knows he doesnt have to play defense. Lebron wont go to some place like that. You might not care if he is God in Cle, but he does...........

This is kind of big, Toronto tells Cle they WILL do a sign and trade for Bosh............of course, Lebron has to convince Bosh to go along with it.

You know what. I wouldn't mind it if it's just for a short term basis. I actually prefer him over Brad Miller, who has also been discussed as another possibilty. I'm also mindful this isn't the same Shaq of 10 years ago and we aren't going to get 30 minutes out of him every night. We need somebody to take over for Perkins while he recups from that surgery.

Buying players is irrelevant in this case, the point is with the huge amount of sports nutz, your idolized and put on a pedastal alot more than you would in Cleveland simply because of the enormous population and the larger market

For Lebron to stay in Cleveland they need to land Bosh, if they do he stays, they dont he bolts

well I think Lebron is gonna make his decision before the rest of them, they are waiting on him. Yea, Lebron would be put on a higher pedestal, but from a basketball stand point, it just doesnt make sense cause who do you think all the blame will go on when NY fails?. Yea, they would make the playoffs with LBJ, but Pho serves as a great example as why you cant win with that kind of offensive system. He knows that, so I dont see that happening. He wants to win, and plus he will make more money staying with his own team, the same team that has had the best record for the last 2 years. Thats too much of a gamble for him to go to NY.

Your 100% right, if the Knicks stink (again) hes going to get all the blame, and Im not fan of Dantoni, so I think the Suns analogy fits like a glove.

But he does stand to make as much money with the Knicks, I think

His Nike contract doubles ?? with a NY, CHI or LA

Idk how the shoes stuff works...........his rookie year, he signed 100 million dollar shoe contract, and Im sure he signed for even more for the second contract, so its not like this guy will ever have to worry about money, or even his kids for that matter. The only thing he cant buy is a title, so thats what he wants more right now.............

I read somewhere that he wanted to be a billionaire, thats why I thought long term maybe the bigger market would lead him to that

he said that 3-4yrs ago I believe, so I think he assumed he would win a title soon cause he had just been in the Finals around that time.
