hmmm...........didnt know that he has to agree to it. I imagine we will hear where Lebron goes on monday and everyone else falls in line like dominos

It's basically this. He doesn't want to be in Toronto. So he either signs with another team outright, or does them a favor by agreeing to a sign and trade so they get something in return for him. He would never sign with them until he knew where he was being traded, unless he and his agent are colossal morons.

well hes an idiot for not agreeing to go to Cle imo just cause its a "small market". I think Bosh is in this more for the $ than Wade or Lebron

Yeah, but if it was purely $$$ he would have already resigned with Toronto since they can pay him the most. Of course, I am not sure how the taxes in Canada compare to some of the other cities he is considering so it could be a wash.

Also to add to the Bosh thing. The only way Toronto can really screw him is if they don't agree to a sign and trade which forces him to lose money since he can get a larger max deal from them. So to correct myself, they are both doing each other a favor by doing a sign and trade, but it only happens if it is to a team the player wants to go to.

well I think you could count Miami out of that cause they only have 2 players on the roster, Chicago; prolly feels they have a solid roster right now and doesnt want to lose anyone else. Houston, who do they have to put up for trade? nobody. LA has interest, but nobody wants an injury prone Bynum. he wants to play with Lebron, I only see it happening if he accepts the sign and trade. You would think more guys would be willing to go in a sign in trade then?

Bosh is a nice player, but on the team we have, I'd rather keep Bynum.. Bosh is too similar to Pau, except Pau is better. Really no room for him because he's not a center.

Mark my words, LeBron is staying.

Johnson stays in Atl for 6years, 119 million............safe to say this team isnt gonna win a title anytime soon :lol

Did Arenas sign for just as much not too long ago?, and now look at them; theyre strapped and cant get rid of him.

I'm talking in terms of player skill and dollar worth. At least, at the time, Arenas was a good player.

Joe Johnson, like Allan Houston, is worth about as much as the crap that gets stuck to my ass when I'm constipated.

In other words, worthless.

Amare agrees to the Knicks' offer. Yay, the Knicks suck a little less. Doubtful they'll get another max player though, but we'll see.

Dont they still have another for LBJ?

Statistically the Knicks have the lowest wiining percentage since 2001
:(

I think LBJ's best chance to win is not is Cleveland, what difference is Scott going to make?? Everyone knows LBJ calls all the plays anyway.

"You pass to me and I score"

Won't be much of a difference.. A 60 plus win team that doesn't flourish in the post season ala Dallas..

I'm sure it's in the back of LBJ's mind to stick around and prove people wrong.. I'm just not that impressed with that team..

LeBron quit on them in the playoffs which was surprising.. Will be interesting.. I say he stays..

As for Joe Johnson, ATL is crazy.. After his comments about how he doesn't care about the fans I'm shocked they rewarded him w/ a Super Lotto contract, I thought for sure he was outta there.. They're as good as they're gunna get which isn't good enough..

I love my Lakers orginization, would suck to be a fan of another team.

Bodie-->:hi5: <---- Ill
