Dallas plays the Rockets and then the Hornets for their final two games, while the Thunder play the Kings and Bucks.

Thunder own the tiebreaker with Dallas by virtue of being a division winner.

Hell, I'm pretty confidant in my Heats chances for the next half decade... but I'm not diluted enough to think they're gonna run the table every year either.

Kobe was out and so was Bynum, so the sense of urgency is a little higher this time. But I agree, absolutely, positively do not count the Lakers out. Kobe and Gasol are champions, not just bling-wise but heart-wise. They will not go out without a fight. If it were LeBron, he would run away crying. Kobe probably in a sadistic way likes this challenge.

I don't doubt that at all. He's the closest thing to Jordan in liking a challenge only to rip your heart out and show it to you. There are a couple of younger players Durant and Rose that I think "may" have that in them but we shall see.
