11/29 is not a random date. It marks the begining of their 21 out of 22 streak. They are 30-6 in that span, better than anyone else over the course of that time. In fact they are 2nd only to the spurs all season despite having gone 9-8 to start.

Yeah, thats about as bad as your "Im counting close losses and OT losses as wins since it was possible they couldve won" stat you tried pulling on us earlier :lol

"Frankly I think your stats are garbage facts 'pundits' hold onto to make them selves feel like they're team ACTUALLY has a chance..."

Where was Wake before the Heat acquired Lebron and Bosh? He was nowhere near the Heat's nuts until then. :lol

Yeah, Heat fans are coming out of the woodwork since last summer. They have 1 NBA title in their existence and thats due more to the Mavs pissing it away. Other than that and a small run in the late 90's they've sucked. The problem is the NBA is getting several good teams and its not like they will just be running rough shot over it. Not to mention I do think with a new CBA they will have a hard time putting enough good players to add anything more than 1-2 titles over the course of these new contracts.

Garnet CLEARLY FOULED OUT with the Heat down two. Then given the free pass hit a jumper to make it a 4 point game.

Despite NBA gifting the game to Celtics Heat STILL had chances to tie.

Oh what a suprise, Heat actually played a good team and they LOST. Like what I've been saying ALL ALONG.

What does that make their record now against .500+ teams? A terrorizing 12-13...(1-6 vs. the top 5 teams in the league!)

This Heat team is FEASTING off the Sub-par East. Their record vs. below .500 teams? 27-2. Too bad sub .500 teams dont make the playoffs.

:lol < @ Heat fans who think this team is a truly a contender

They do in the East : )

And honestly, I'd still say the Heat are a contender. And I HATE them.

IMO, these are the contenders:

No order:

1. Spurs
2. Mavs
3. Lakers
4. Heat
5. Celtics

One of these 5 teams will win the championship; and I believe each of them have a legitimate chance to.

Wow Heat over the Celts? Not so sure about that. I would say Heat isnt even in the top 5 with ORL edging them out at #5 (by default).

Heres my top 5:
1. Celtics (Total package imo)
2. Lakers (still the champs no matter what. Reg season doesnt mean jack until theyre ousted in the playoffs)
3. Spurs (A little too inconsistent for me to be too confident)
4. Mavs (Still a great team inspite of losing Caron. Dirk still my MVP pick)
5. Magic (A dangerous team, not to be taken lightly)
6. Heat (Might scare bottom feeders, but playoff teams will tear this team apart in a 7-game series)

A little love for Chicago? I don't think anyone really wants to play us in a best of 7. We might be a little young to win it this year but ya just never know.

imo Baby Bulls will be up there soon. They have a great core. But they need to be a little more battle tested and need to grow with their current team. Dont make any serious changes to the roster anytime soon, just plug in the proper role players. i.e. shooters and bigs. Im not sold on their coach though. Maybe Phil will come back :D

I def. wouldnt want to face them in the playoffs because they will wear you out. They may not win the series. But they will wear you out. Much like the Thunder out in the West. Another dangerous young team.

Well, I admit I'm a bit biased of course. I would put them in there based on their play against those teams. I like how we have things going with our roster and agree no real serious changes. I like Tibs a lot as a coach. He preaches D which is what wins you titles.

I very much could see us making the East finals this year. I agree with you they will wear you out. I love watching them play. They're fun and gonna be there for a long time.

Spurs are the best in NBA right now. No bones about it. I hope the Heat see them in the finals.
