Sorry, but no. Win 1 with the current players and you can start looking at number 2. Then you can start looking at number 3. Etc.

You don't count your chickens before they hatch. Let the Heat do that. In a league with 30 (32?) teams, you can't make predictions that you'll win every year.
I won't be surprised if they win 1 in the next 5 years, but 4? LMAO.

IMO, "very good chance" means at least even money, not 10:1 or even 2:1. Care to bet even money that the Bulls will win 4 championships in 10 years? The odds the Bulls win a championship in any given year is probably 5:1 or lower. Chances they (or any team) wins 4 in 10 years is probably 1000:1.

He didn't say every year did he. He didn't even give specifics. Not even counting chickens before they're hatched. Again, he was talking about the course of the career of these players. I mean Rose is in his third year. He's probably got 12-13 more years left. So winning four rings is totally possible. He was talking about potential. He didn't say like Miami we're going to win. He said I think we can win and again didnt give specifics.

Also some teams have a chance to make it to the finals every year. They're teams like LA, San, Chicago, Boston, etc that have money to get players to come play there. Not hold up a season trying to leave.

You have Carlos Boozer who has left a team or 2 already high and dry. Come his turn in FA again, he is probably as good as gone again.

Reinsdorph used the words "very good chance". Those are the words I take exception to. Even if you limit the teams that truly have a shot at winning to 5 or 6, I still don't think its a "very good chance" to win 4.

He might but Chicago is much better than either of those two teams and can get better players as a whole. By the time he's ready to hit FA again it will probably be time to let him go. He will be like 34 and probably not a top of the line starter.

Well, I believe we have a very good chance over the next 12-13 years of these young guys careers to get 4 rings. Thats 1 every three years basically. Will we? I don't know will be fun and we have the right young group to do something special I think.

i could see the Bulls getting another championship or two in the next 10 years. They have a really good team...emphasis on the word TEAM.

Thats the thing I love the most about us is the TEAM aspect. We have a young guy in Rose thats going to be really really good and Noah will be good as well. Its a matter of playing team ball and using your stars correctly. It worked for us in the 90's.

asked about the crying phil jackson said:

this is the nba.. no boys aloud. if you have to cry don't let anyone see you and go into the toilet..

LMAO!!!

Has he forgotten his own players crying after they lost to the Spurs in '03? Granted, no one should be crying after a regular season loss, but still.:lol

I have to agree with Bodie, crying in the playoffs after having your 4-peat hopes ended - understandable. Crying in the NCAA basketball tournament after a tough loss - understandable.

Crying because you're losers and you can't win and the world HATES YOU - leave that to the WNBA...

Pretty much. :goodpost:

Oh and I forgot, crying after winning your 1st championship with your dad by your side after losing year after year to the hated Pistons - understandable...that was for you Josh :wink1: :lol

Thanks!! :lol :hi5: Yeah, he cried after the win against seattle as well first one after his Dad's death.

I'm not afraid to admit I get misty eyed after each one of those six wins. I love my Bulls.

no short memory.. that was after being eliminated from the playoffs.. not a my feelings are hurt because i didnt win a reg season game..

Yeah, but Jackson's comment was you shouldn't cry at all. I have no problems with The Lakers players crying in that situation either.
