Spurs get Richard Jefferson :banana

What a steal for the Spurs. 3 guys who are 35 plus and nearly done if not already for RJ. Wow

I like that trade for the Spurs. If Jefferson is healthy he can light it up especially with Duncan and the gang. He's leaps ahead of the three he got traded for.

It sounds like the Bulls are going to trade Hinrich to Portland. Not sure on what they may be getting back but unless they will be keeping Gordon I'm not sure I like this.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns are nearing agreement on a blockbuster trade involving Shaquille O'Neal, according to two sources with knowledge of the discussions. The deal has been agreed to in principle and is expected to be finalized Thursday, according to sources.
Cleveland will send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to Phoenix for O'Neal. Sources said the Suns will also receive the 46th pick in Thursday's NBA draft and $500,000.
:horror So hopefully now that we got at least $10 mil saved in salary cap, the Suns' front office can get their heads out of their dumb asses and take Stoudemire off the trading block.

CLE doesn't know what their getting into.. The circus will be coming into town..

As for Pho's roster either way, :lol < LOL!!!

Not a bad deal for the Cavs two eh players for Shaq, unless they extend his contract

Kerr and the Suns? A clear indication they regret the Shaq trade in the first place. :duh

The latest 'rumor' is Stoudemire & Barbosa to the Rockets for T-Mac, Landry and Brooks. Of course still have Golden State and Washington with interest in Stoudmire. To re-build or not to re-build is the question many ask Mr. Kerr. Tough time to be a Suns fan.

Cleveland certainly didn't give up much for Shaq. There are even doubts Ben Wallace will play next year.

I just don't know during the regular season what Shaq will offer the Cavs, but I think once they reach the playoffs having Shaq as a potential second scorer is going to be crucial.

The other thing it does is shows LeBron that ownership is willing to try anything, though it does look like a 1 year desperation move. Making a sign-and-trade deal for Stoudamire probably would have made a long term impression.

I agree, the Cavs are looking towards next year. Talks of adding Rasheed Wallace, a wing player and re-signing Varejao.

Ferry doesn't sign these guys to crazy extensions / deals the Cavs will be in good shape salary wise the next few years. Prove to LBJ they are willing to do what it takes for a championship (money and personel wise), with cap room to get younger players he might be intrigued enough to stay.

Cleveland doesn't have must else to offer the guy beyond cold weather, declining industry and a small market. I guess it is worth a try :D

Why the ^^^^ would anybody want Tracy "Mr. Glass" McGrady at this point?

Rockets GM Daryl Morey told the Houston Chronicle that teams have been "very aggressive" in their pursuit of Tracy McGrady, and unlike last summer, Morey is listening intently. One such scenario floated by the New York Post, has McGrady, Aaron Brooks, and Carl Landry going to Phoenix for Stoudemire and Leandro Barbosa. According to CBSSports.com, it is a dubious scenario considering the Suns' long-held reluctance to trade Barbosa.

Wow, seriously, if they give away Stoudemire i'd be ^^^^ing pissed as ^^^^....but if Barbosa leaves too, that's the last straw. they might as well get rid of Nash while they are at it. ^^^^ steve kerr and the rest of the office.

The Suns give away Amare to any "rumored" team (Wizards, Warriors, Rockets) for the garbage being offered. Talent wise no offer returns Amare's stats and IMO indicates a rebuilding effort.

Nash wouldn't stay and if he bolts Suns fans will find one Mr. Kerr and :gun

I think Suns fans should be just as pissed at Sarver as they are at Kerr. Not much you can do when your owner is a cheap bastard.

why are suns fans pisssed? :confused:they werent going to win a title with Shaq, but if they trade Amare, then i could understand the anger cause he is their best player and their future..........Shaq vs Kobe in the finals next year :monkey3 still think Cavs need another PF and/or a "scorer"

looks like Vinsanity might be going to Orlando :horror that would be huge.........the east is really going to be loaded next year
