*Excuse* That was a different team for us AND for you....

:lol < LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you just proved MY point with that excuse. If it was different teams then drop the "who has how many titles" BS and let's stick to this season alone. :D

I think the difference is that Ill and I are Laker fans and have lived through the glorious championships.. Whereas you are more of a player fan over a franchise fan... As in your loyalties lie toward Nash and Stoudimire over the Suns organization.. Just a guess..

I think you hit the nail on the head buddy. I've been a life long Laker fan and will always relive championships past, that is a teams legacy, what they've done in the past. I don't care what players come and go, I'll always be a Lakers fan first.

We're talking basketball, there is no team loyality unless your the evil Celtics, Lakers, Bulls or Pistons....:emperor The rest of us fall into the NBA's marketing ploy of promoting players.

Seriously, it is good to see people supporting organizations (teams) versus individual players.

true true. i didnt have th privilege of growing up in a place that has pro teams so yeah i do mainly follow my fav players instead. every one knows the lakers’ legacy but i siill dont think it means something when talking about this season. time will tell. for now im enjoying watching everything unfold

God damn I love watching sports on my Panasonic plasma. *drools*

They almost urinated away a 23 pt. lead in the 4th quarter, but all that matters is the W. The steamroller keeps on steamrollin'.

It's actually the first 1/10th of the season if you want to get technical, but yes they are definitely the best team in the league this year.........without a doubt. They've passed the test against 2 of the 3 legitimate challengers in the west(Houston and N.O) so the only other team they need to prove themselves against is Utah. The sun has faded on the old brigade(San Antonio, Dallas, Phoenix) so you really only have 4 legit contenders in the conference now.
