Lakers Win, Celtics Lose!!! :woo

Lamar again the difference. He's stepping up his game now, virtually kept the Lakers in the game vs Celts and his 3rd Period Heroics beat the Cavs today. His best game of the season. I was really worried about his poor decision making which carried over from the Playoffs last year through the early part of the season, but I have to say I'm liking what I'm seeing from him lately.

Corrected..

Seriously though, Kerr came in and ruined a nice recipe.. They played well together..

You're basically in a rebuilding phase. They say Nash is untouchable now, unfortunately for him. But I doubt even he isn't really available for trade.. They know he plans to bolt to NY once his contract expires which is what a year or 2 away?..

I think saying 'was' is a little too much. If they got rid of Shaq and could get a legitimate big man who doesnt have to dominate but just be able to be effective on defense and rebounding, with the amount of talent they have they would be in great shape.

I honestly really cant even fathom how Kerr could even consider getting rid of anyone besides Shaq. Ditch him and his huge salary and find someone for half the price.

Isn't NY close to losing Lee? Do you really think NY will be able to bring in both Nash and Lebron? After thinking about TOR and NYK, i wouldnt be too upset to see Nash in NY. I'd probably buy season tickets then.

Weight gain is bad for the knees. Its no surprise they don't use steroids or pop protein pills and stuff. Pot or cocain on the other hand...getting high makes you closer to the rim.

The Suns just can't decide if they want to play defense, be a western contender or rebuild -- sad too, they will be done without Stoudemire.

Oh and thank you Bobcats for beating the Clippers --- cha-ching! :chug

Turns out Vlad Rad asked for a trade... He wanted more playing time more so than a shot at a ring ot two. I liked him but he always was a dumbass, looks like that holds true.

Basketball trade rules are a huge problem. If a team wants to dump a high salary player for draft picks or cheaper role players or youth and the 2nd team is willing to take on that higher salary, they should be allowed.

Instead, you have to pull these stupid trades where you bring in overpriced junk or guys that are even already retired or players that threaten to retire but yo accept their salary anyway to get the deal done. Keith Van Horne and Antonio McDice (spelled it wrong) bull crap.

Baseball has steroids, but basketball's got some pretty retarded faults of its own.

Kerr = coach....Sucks to be a Suns fan :rotfl

Not a Suns fan however, their current predicament is interesting. The team is underachieving and a title is not (nor was even under D'Antoni) in their future. The Lakers, Spurs and up and comers rule the west. Suns team chemistry, coaching, the threat of Nash bolting and an aging Shaq leaves them open to blow it up and start over.

Assuming Kerr does not totally blow any deals (BIG IF) they have options. I know Nash is next to God in Phoenix, I would explore trading him and /or Barbosa along with Amare. Nash will bolt after his contract to fit into a system best suited for his talents. The Blazers and Warriors proposals for Amare sound interesting. The Heat and Bulls offers I would pass.

Save cap space to make a run in 2010, get young talent and draft picks is all you really have to look forward too. The Lakers own the west therfore, winning a title soon is not realistic.

That said, I propose Sczcerbiak expiring contract and garbage for Amare. A good chance Kerr may bite :D

The Raptors have agreed to send Jermaine O'Neal and Jamario Moon to the Heat in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.
