Both sides of my family tree are deeply rooted in Cleveland, though I never spent more than 3 months between family vacations in Ohio in my life. The loyalty ran down from my parents, so naturaly, I love the Indians, Browns (well Browns 1.0 atleast) and the Cavs. My favorite players in my youth were Brad Daugherty, Mark Price, Larry Nance, etc.

Jordan ripped my heart out time and time again. If we were a Western Conference team we would have made 4 or 5 Finals easy. But Jordan killed us year after year. I have to hate him. But I'm still proud of my team and give Jordan props.

I admit when Lebron was a rookie and having that 100 million dollar nike contract and all that stuff, i was also bewildered how the NBA could put so much faith in someone who has yet to even prove himself. but after what 6 seasons? In my opinion Lebron has definitely lived up to the hype. He's done more for his team than Kobe has singlehandedly done for the Lakers. Has kobe won a championship without having shaq there? Also, factor in that the Lakers generally always have a solid team with outstanding players, who does Clevland have? And they keep getting better and better each year as Lebron raises his game another level each year. The guy is almost averaging a triple double, who the hell does that?

Jordan was awesome defensively, but I don't think he was as good at rebounding or getting his teammates the ball.

Well, James is better at rebounding but he has jordan by 2" and 40lbs. As far as the assists James has him by about 1 assist more per game. So he has better numbers in that regard.

the bottom line is, lebron will go down as a better player,person, and teammate than kobe easily when his career is all said and done as long as he keeps doing the right things on and off the court. he may or may not get more titles than Kobe, but that doesnt always measure how great players truly are, and as far as that game last night, incredible shot, but the Cavs have sooooooo many things to fix on defense, i dont know how, but they need to figure out how to play well for 48 minutes.

......very curious to see what team LA brings to Denver
