On the other hand, all those games were decided by just a few points, and if Lebron had hit all of his free throws. . .
The Magic are just a great team at this point. I feel that they are "peaking," whereas the Cavs may have done this in the earlier rounds. Sure, the Cavs could use a better supporting cast for Lebron, but I think he has to take a lot of the blame for their problems now. When the real pressure is on, he hasn't proved able to overcome it yet, IMO.
ready to concede the series to the Magic now. They are a very good team. 3 seed upsetting 1 seed is not that unbelievable so I don't think it goes down as a one of the greatest choke jobs or anything. Cleveland seriously needs to reevaluate the supporting cast and see if they can't bring in a really solid veteran, a Teshon Prince or Rip Hamilton type. I know its popular on this board to diss on LeBron, but it speaks volumes that he got this team to a number 1 seed in the first place because without him they're probably one of the worst. I don't think you can say that about either of the other 3 final teams.
As much as I hate to say it, if I'm LeBron I'm ready to leave the Cavs unless ownership seriously splurges on help this offseason.
thats crap dude. no player has a perfect game. He missed some freethrows, but are you suggesting there was a better alternative and he shouldn't have been on the court at the time? you have to take the performances as a whole and as a whole its still arguable that LeBron is the best individual performer in the series. He can't be expected to be perfect and if ANY of the other Cleveland players brought a resemblance of game then the free throws wouldn't matter.
Basically you're saying LeBron is underachieving because he can't score 60 points in a game and beat the Magic singlehandedly.
the cavs are a very poor defensive team overall. Guards can't defend, Big Z does little else besides take up space. Only LeBron and Andersen actually play D. Again, LeBron's not at fault for that.
I agree Brown looks horrible now. His bench rotation has been very suspect, but he doesn't have much to work with either.
He(LBJ) did also hae 7 Turn overs in the 4th Qrt alone......not a good game overall for a "mvp".
No, I'm just saying that he hasn't proven himself to be a clutch player yet, and his decisions to go for low percentage threes over driving to the basket in the waning moments boggles me (yes, he made a few clutch threes, but you have to go with the percentages, and with the refs who are very likely going to call a foul on the other team).thats crap dude. no player has a perfect game.
