I wasn't even sure I'd be able to see a post like that tonight. I'm still shaking me head in disbelief. (A good disbelief though. :lol)
I'd be honored for your Magic to wipe the floor with my Lakers. :lol

Curious, why are all you Lakers fans so anti-Cavs? Are you jealous of Lebron's attention, or scared of him?
It's got nothing to do with being a Laker fan, I could be a fan of any other team and I still wouldn't like him.

Sorry, saw you had a Cali location and "jumped to conclusions." I haven't noticed many Lakers fans rooting against the Magic here, though. Do you guys think that you will have better match-ups with them?

It's Sunnydale, CA....I'm a Buffy fan. :lol (But you're not the first to ask me.)

This year is Howard's real "coming out party" for sure. The commentators keep saying that if he gets a nice 7-10 foot jumper, he would be unstoppable, and I tend to agree.

I just want to say great job tonight Alston for jump starting the 3 pt. game in the second half. :rock

he doesnt need one.......it would be easier to guard him if he was taking jump shots all day. i believe Orlando and Denver have played the best, even if LA squeezes through, i pick Orlando to win it all at THIS point, but i guess like a lot of guys hate Lebron so much, i hate Kobe in the same way, even though i have his autographed olympic jersey :rotfl
BTW-i only got his cause no other player was available :sick

It's the idea of giving him another dimension. He can play decent in the post, but give him a nice fall-away like Karl Malone, and he could really dominate.

I don't like Kobe or Lebron. I can't imagine rooting for either, even if they played for my Hornets, but. . .I would be willing to try :)

We need somebody to help Paul out.

exactly, shaq won 4 titles being the way he is, there is nobody else like Howard in the league, and Rashard Lewis and Hedo are good enough to be able to help them win a title, they both play as a Kobe as far as contributing to their team winning

The championship match will be ...

Orlando vs. Denver

or

Cleveland vs. Lakers

If Orlando wins, then Denver wins...and vice versa.

Lakers (Kobe) is a one man show just like Cleveland (Lebron). Lakers doesn't have the legs or team to win the championship. Even if they beat Denver, they'll be too tired in the final round....

Eh, I really don't think those guys are Kobe or D. Wade.

how many game winners have both those guys made these playoffs? i dont know the exact number, but they have made a hell of a lot more than Kobe has ever made in one playoff. of course their not Kobe or Wade from a skill set point of view, but together they contribute like one of those players.........

I don't know anything about the number of game winning shots, so you may be right about that, but neither of those guys can really take over games like Kobe or D. Wade can. Making clutch shots is one thing, but single-handedly changing the way the other team plays is something else entirely (and Kobe had some of that even early in his career). If teams had to pay even less attention to Howard than they do, he would look that much better, and I think that is why Shaq really succeeded when he had one of those guys around him.

But whatever the case, I personally think a lot of credit for the Magic's success goes to. . .the coaching :horror

People always like to criticize Van Gundy, but the guy knows how to create match-up problems, and has made some great play calls at prime times.

Van Gundy has defn done a better coaching job then what Brown has done, i just dont think anyone will be able to compete with a dominating center surrounded by hella 3pt shooters, almost every one of those guys can hit the 3 ball and if the cavs cant defend them, then neither will the Lakers. Denver and Orlando would really be an exciting up and down 120 points a game series though

I like Dwight Howard a LOT, it's hard to root against the guy.

He's a good player. Fun to watch, has fun, and is a force. He seems to play the game the right way.

I gotta call a tiny bit of bull Ill. You're a fan of Kobe and you don't like the fact James has gotten so much pub over your boy. This is because he hasn't done anything in your book, etc. He's done as much at this point as Kobe as far as the love goes at this point. I remember clearly all this bullcrap talk about how Kobe was the next Jordan, blah blah blah early on. He hadn't done anything, was a horrible teammate, etc.

The talk about James is that he's a great player and could be one of the best. I think right now based on how he plays that could be true. He's doing as much with this team as he can do, but if you give him Kobe's cast and he wins the title hands down. Sweep probably in every series and honestly he probably listens to Phil better than Kobe.

The one thing about Kobe that irks me when it comes to the title talk. Yes, Kobe has three and Lebron has none that fact is true. However, Kobe has none by himself and before its tossed at me about Jordan not having any by himself this is true. Here's the thing though that no great player wins them by himself. He always has help when it comes to winning them. Kobe has three because he had Shaq and IMO I equate that time to Shaq=Jordan and Kobe=Pippen. Yes, Kobe is better than Pippen (who was a great player in his own right) but he wasn't the lead dog on those title teams. Right now Kobe has been the lead dog for a while now and hasn't gotten it done yet. He had his best chance last year and got beat and right now is being pushed by Denver. Lebron has decent help but he needs his Scottie Pippen and they're both 0-1 when taking teams by themselves.

how wasnt that a foul? it doesnt matter if the trip was incidental with pietrus, its a foul cause he wasnt moving his feet quick enough, the offensive player will always get that call when there is any kind of trip, except kobe of course :lol

As far as charges? The defender must establish position (which allows for some feet movement) at least according to what I've been barked at by refs when arguing during games.

He's a clean cut dude with no tattoo's, no huge ego, has a Monster physique and he plays well under pressure. :love :D

Ok so how do you feel about Kobe then? Kobe has tats (so he could increase his street cred :lol), has a monster ego, and I wouldn't say clean cut.

Guys at this level all these things the ones that win can put all of it together and get it done.
