record for most wins (2,905)
record for highest winning percentage (61.5)
record for most nba finals appearances (30)
record for second fewest missed playoffs (5)
record for longest winning streak for a US professional sports team (33)
record for second most NBA titles (14 going on 15)
the Lakers are the best franchise
How about that record for most wins in a season.
How about those 1991 NBA Finals.

Did you even read the article? It says greatest NBA franchise ever. They are certainly near the top when it comes to all sports franchises though.

Nice video recap of yesterdays game, I love the look on D. Wade and Boozer's face when Kobe made that spin move and pass to Pau and the look on the Magic fans faces at the end of the video.

whats so legal about hitting a guy in the face with an elbow
..........howard was penalized for his elbows before, so explain that. and i know a lot of you laker fans ^^^^^ed like crazy when lebron got "superstar calls" and its just an obvious thing that kobe gets similar treatment just as much..........we can give a million reasons why orlando lost, but none of that matters, if stupid ass nelson knew how to defend in that situation in the 4th qtr, they wouldnt have lost that game.........i mean the idiot was inside the 3pt line, and the lakers HAD to have a 3, everyone knows you play outside the 3 and at worst give fisher a layup, but at least chase him off the 3

well Howard hasn't thrown only one elbow in his life so your example just doesn't work, some elbows are just not intentional and he has thrown some since his suspension. Have you ever played basketball? if your arms are up as your turning then the elbows will be up - it's just how the body works - you put your face in the way you will get hit in the face, it's a simple as that. Legal play and great non-call.
now they rest of your point is very true, Fisher is not a threat off the dribble and while he has been struggling with this shot, you do not give him a 3 pointer that he can step into.....

I wish I could find video of his elbow to the back of David Robinson's head. Dan Patrick asked the question this morning, "Would you rather have Derek Fisher's or Karl Malone's career?". I'll take Fisher's anyday, he has three rings (possibly four) and Malone's ^^^^^ ass has ZERO.
