It was an act of frustration, but I don't think it was a huge deal. Gasol understandably reacted in a pissed off manner, but it wasn't like it was going to seriously injure him by doing that.

Had Pau been in the air and not hung onto the rim, yes he couldve gotten very hurt. He could landed on his back, his hip, his head and the we would've been down a key player.

I got pushed from behind like that once ( I f'n hate that) in a NCAA Division III Soccer Game and I slugged the guy. The Goalie and I got into it, I tackled the priss down. When I got back up I saw about 20 Guys from both teams racing towards us (in the net).

And it was a Homecoming Game. My Parents saw the whole thing.

That's what I was thinking. Could he have been hurt? Conceivably. But I don't think he would have landed on his head or anything too serious. I've seen a lot worse in the NBA.

He also whacked Pao in the face earlier in the game although that looked unintentional. Pao took his lumps from Amistad tonight.. that push was with intent to injure IMO but he won't get suspended.

If Pao got hurt Petrie dish would be gone.

Looking at the stats again the Magic blew a golden opportunity, they shot 17 more free throws and made 7 more than the Lakers. When you look at a stat like that it is usually for the winning team.

Before I go to bed I gotta thank three people...

1) Trevor Ariza, for his amazing 2nd half and for playing with the heart of a Champion.

Great game, Amistad should be suspended though. Put it this way if that was Odom who has back problems from the previous series it could have been much more serious, when you look at the replay he put almost everything he had in hitting Gasol it wasn't just some bump.

Lakers could win this on Orlando's court, i love it.
