Barring some unforeseen move like the infamous hipcheck on Nash depriving the eventual winner from the finals, I would bet on the league to be heartbroken when they do NOT get their desired Lakers vs. Celtics match-up. My money is on Spurs versus Pistons.

If the league was worried about the Spurs and Pistons again in the series they need to speak to the refs about the blatant favortism to the established teams.

I don't necessarily think there is a conspiracy, but more than any sport, NBA refs get caught up in the drama that an established player or team brings and they end up helping them out even further.

When a team like SA is on a roll EVERYTHING goes in their favor.

As a fan of the sport, I really hope the Lakers/Spurs series goes 7. I've really enjoyed the past few days and all the drama that surrounds a 7 game series.

I love how everyone assumes the Suns would have won that series. The Suns blew a 20 point lead at home in Game 5. There is no excuse for that even without Diaw and Stoudamire.

Spurs had to sleep on their plane last night as they couldn't get the plane to take off and all of NO was booked due to a huge convention.. Spurs made it to Los Angeles this morning at 9 AM and skipped practice because they were so tired...

Also I think the Hornets will take out the Spurs in 5 or 6 games.. CP3 is the real deal..

I agree they are the Champs and deserve some respect... However, all season long they have been flat and have had trouble scoring the ball.. Right now they are a 3 man team.. With that said, goodnight Spurs...
