Come on Celtics! You can do it!!!

yeah and seem to have overall better talent; shooters, etc. the lakers should be scary in the next fears years. it's not over yet though.

Not that it matters, but there is no pressure on the Lakers to win in Boston, but there is tremendous pressure on Boston. I can't believe Pierce was played the whole game. If Perkins can't play in game 6 it may be a factor.

Lakers Defense has to play much better. I still say Celts in 6.

No way they can win in Boston if they play like they did tonight. I'm glad they live to see another day, but that certainly wasn't a pretty win.

Are you saying Game 2 was a pretty win for Boston? :lol

It doesn't matter, only the W. Lakers found a way to win tonight, just as Boston did in Game 2.

As unbelievable as it is, they STILL have not put together a complete game. IF they they put it all together, then maybe they'll have a chance at forcing a game seven. They need to stay consistent in both halves.

Another note: no rest day after travel day for game 6. Doc played Pierce the entire game, didn't he? Game 3 was pretty ugly with no rest day either.

If Sasha didn't go 1 for 9 in Game 4 the Lakers might up 3-2. Odum and Gasol were the difference tonight. Lakers out rebounded the Celts tonight as well.

It will certainly be a test for Pierce in Game 6 after going the full 48 tonight. That coupled with the short rest and Rondo/Perkins situation could be a HUGE benefit to the Lakers. If, and it's a big if, the Lakers manage to pull out the win Tuesday night I think they'll actually win the whole thing. I'm still not convinced they can prevail in game 6, but if they somehow can I think Boston will be ripe for the taking in Game 7. Phil's experience combined with the game's best closer gives us a nice advantage. Should be interesting.

Yeah, it might be interesting. Here's how I see it. Boston has 3 Superstars, the Lakers have only one so Boston can key on Kobe and make the rest of the Lakers have to beat them. It's their basic strategy and that's what happened tonight, Odum and Gasol beat them. If the Lakers don't play solid, aggressive and physical, it's over. Lakers have to out rebound them again to have a chance and Gasol and Odum have to play well again.

I will really be interested to see how Pierce plays. He has been the best player in the Series and he's gotta be a little whupped after tonight's 48. I thought that was a mistake overplaying him, really. Doc wanted to wrap it up tonight but he may have extended the series as a result.

Though that steal should have been a foul... nuf said... it will be more fun for us to win tomorrow night in Boston. :D:D:D

GOOOOOOO CELTICS

I would have liked to have seen them put it away last night. The thought of seeing them win it in Boston is exciting though. A Boston team hasn't clinched a championship at home since the Celtics beat the Rockets in game 6 in 1986. It's going to be electric at the Garden and I think the Celtics win fairly easily tomorrow night, by around 15.
