I'll say this, If the Celtics do win good for them, they deserve it just as much as the Lakers. Either way I'll still be proud of my boys, they have a bright future ahead of them! :rock

Well thank you... I appreciate that. Since we had the season from hell the year before... and such a great season this year... I think we do deserve it just as much.

Can't wait for next season already. Hopefully my boy Manu Ginboili will be healthy and he should be by then. Will always love my SPURS! Even though its not over, this year just about belongs to the CELTICS.

GO SPURS GO!

I wonder if any "company men" have been selected as the referee team for the next few games?

The 1st quarter was so frustrating. The Lakers were moving the ball around and the Celts' defense didn't show up. And they were missing open shots again. I couldn't believe Kobe only had 3 points at halftime and yet the Lakers still scored 58 points. It looked like it was going to be a night where one team could do nothing wrong and the other could do nothing right.

I was starting to wonder why the Celtics defense could play so great at home and so lousy on the road, but they showed up in the 3rd. After P.J.'s emphatic slam at the end of the quarter I felt they were going to be in the game the rest of the way and it would go down to the wire. I was very proud of the way they battled back and extremely happy they were able to pull it out.

I'd love to see them clinch in Boston, especially since the Sox won both of their championships on the road but, when you've got a team on the ropes, you need to put them away. The last 3 games of the series have each been decided by 6 points, either team could have easily won any of those games. I feel good about being up 3-1 but I won't feel great until we get that 4th one.

That's the spirit!

The Celtics are really built to just try and get a championship in about a 3 year span. If we can just get one I'll be content with that, because it's been so damn long since the last one.

You guys are in much better shape for the long run, with a chance for multiple championships for the next several years. I hope it doesn't happen though. :monkey3

Thanks? :D

that's an easy one, play as crappy as the lakers did in the 2nd half!

Sorry but trying to blame the refs on this one will get you nowhere.

Ya, can't blame the refs for this one.. Blame this one on the Celtics defense and the Lakers choking.. Simple as that..

Celts in 5 or 6.. They are the grittier and more composed team of the two this series..

Lakers are young. This is a growth experience for them. Only 2 Players have Finals experience. Look at where they were a year ago. Even the beginning of the season. They weren't even expected to make the playoffs.

They won the Division, knocked off the Defending Champs and should have tied the Series with a better team. The Celts have 2 or 3 Superstars, Lakers have only one and that was the difference. Bynum's development will be the key to taking a ring.

Lakers have a team built for the future.

I can live with that.
