It actually does look better in the in hand picture, but it still doesn't look good enough to warrant a purchase for me. Definitely not the same level of accuracy as Neca's other Batmen.

And is it just me, or does the chest look too thin compares to Affleck in costume?

Even if it was better, I might not get it anyway because I would rather get Mafex's Trinity for a little more $$.

Cameron Frye as Batman :lol

I don't like it, haven't liked it since day 1. I think their Keaton, Arkham Knight Batman and recent Bale are much better examples of their work. I also don't understand why they dropped the cowl design they had with their Keaton and West where they sculpted an actual head/face underneath the cowl and mask. That was such a fantastic and realistic design.

With this Batman, he looks dead and lobotomized. Like his brains and part of the back of his head were removed while being flattened and stretched.

I don't understand why not one single company so far has been able to nail every aspect of this batman. The closest one I think is still the Jakks. I'll still probably pick up the hot toys, though. I just find it odd no one can get both the likeness and build down.

Have to keep waiting on the ht I guess. Funny, the only bvs figures I currently have are from funko.

That Batfleck sculpt.... It has a simian quality wouldn't you all say?

Nolan's costumes translate better into toys, go figure.

Yeah, opposite world. Nolan TDK suits... Crap in movies, cool as toys. Now we have a Batsuit that was perfect in movie, but problematic as toys. :lol

The Jakks stuff is still pretty great, though... and the Hot Toys figure is looking solid.

The Jakks regular Batman (the big one and smaller one) are the only BvS figures I've bought. They're great. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Affleck likeness, suit accuracy or proportions. Yeah, they basically have no articulation and crap capes, but you put those suckers under proper display lighting and they look fantastic just standing there.

Then again, I'm pretty sure Jakks used 3D scanning technology and actually had a scan of Affleck in the suit whereas NECA and these other companies have all done this by reference and hand, but I digress. Those Jakks figures are great, then if some talented painter comes along and works their magic on them? They're phenomenal.

I'm sure the Hot Toys figure will be pretty good, the regular Batman anyway. Unless of course they find a way to mess up those mouth and eye plates.

This NECA one looks like an abomination though, just like that MoS Superman from a few years ago. I ate crow on their Reeve Superman (I thought it looked bad in pics, but once I got them in hand, it really is phenomenal), but there isn't a single picture of this Affleck Batman that makes it look good. Too late for changes like they did with their Bale. This isn't a knock on NECA, it's just they've done much better work (and better Batmen). I'm anxiously awaiting their Battle Damaged T-800, Catwoman and Returns Batman. If it's like their '89 Batman, Reeve Superman, Arkham Knight Batman, Harley Quinn and Ledger Joker (the scaled down 7" version anyway), they should be great.

I do agree... BUT IF the Jakks head is replaceable it may beef up the figure we'll see... This si why I WISH they would of done Armored Batman cause we all know they could of done normal suit for JL 1&2 or the Solo Batman film...

I totally agree. NECA probably could have done a much better job on an Armoured Batman too. They have a good history with armoured 1/4 figures.
