Those shots are INSANE. Thought they were stills from the set for a split second - well done!

She's a great figure - let down only by her complete inability to stand even with the..err, stand.

I don't think NECA has anything new coming. :lol

They've completely dropped off the radar for months now.

NECA have been cancelled.

I'm kinda curious to know if people here would pay $150 for a 1/4 Jack Nicholson Joker by NECA. Ideally it would have a cloth coat and some accessories. I would pay that much for one.

Is it me or does the 1/4 sculpture heads look jagged edges face. Most all the sculpts I look at look ruff. Like they blew up a 6" sculpt

I certainly would if the figure was done incredibly well like their other Burton era figures. I wouldn't want that price to become the norm but considering the circumstances, I would make an exception. I feel like it would turn out great because the folks at NECA seem to have a bigger passion for this classic stuff vs new DC stuff.

I dunno bout the cloth coat. It's the thing I like least about the Mayor Penguin. I know that a plastic coat would be extremely limiting but the part of me that just likes a great sculpt standing on the shelf would favour it over a puffy softgoods coat hanging unnaturally.

I'm the exact opposite. The coat is my favourite part of the Penguin figures, maybe next to the headsculpts. You just have to futz them a bit but they make the figures feel like a higher quality and they look great.

Really not a fan of the rubber coat on their Dark Knight Joker.

I'd pay $200 for a 1/4 NECA Nicholson Joker.

No cloth though. I don't see why he'd need it. Don't give him the trench coat. Simple.

Jack wouldn't be Jack with out his Purple overcoat. I'm fine with they did an plastic suit or whatever. But cloth overcoat is a must. Look at how much better Heath Joker would of been if he had an cloth coat. And I really doubt NECA would not give Jack an cloth overcoat since they done it with the Penguins and Raphael.

Yeah I think a purple overcoat would be necessary. I feel like even if the coat doesnt look good, I'm sure someone can alter the coats to make them look much better. Its a shame NECA won't try to get the license.

Prob not worth it to them. I'm sure Jack wants several millions. Which they prob have to jack the price up to 300 or 400 prob to break even. Plus maybe not many would buy it since it's 1/4.

I hoping to see a Dark Knight Suit Batman, Nicholson Joker, Bane and I would love a Two Face but it'll never happen.

Yeah I would love some more TDK stuff. a Batman Returns suit and hopefully some Animated Series love.

I'm just never satisfied with any futzing I do - plus it can become 'unfutzed' anyway. With an all-sculpted figure you don't have to worry about this.

I wonder how Hot Toys did with their Jack Joker since they're the only company that released an 89 Joker. I wonder if the license was worth it for them.

If it was $300 or $400 and the quality of a standard NECA figure I wouldn't go for it. Love Nicholsons Joker buy that's getting awfully close to Hot Toys 1/4 prices.

Took some inspiration from the Premium Format Dark Knight Batman and Joker, and posed my NECA Begins Batman and Ledger Joker accordingly. I think they will stay on the shelf like this for a while, especially Batman.

At the end of the day, probably only Hot Toys has the power to do the Tim Burton's Batman movie license properly.
It probably took them some time to negotiate a proper deal with Jack Nicholson and why they released 2 versions of the Joker to balance the cost a bit. I figured Howard must be a fan in some way or at least part of the artist team as the amount of details on the figures really shows that they care.
Sadly I don't think there is a huge demand with the older movies now that the new movies are coming out and the unfortunately many people still aren't letting go of the Dark Knight series and those Ironmen. Slowing down the chances of us getting more characters like Bob the goon, the real Catwoman, Penguin, etc.

At this point I consider Nolan trilogy figures nostalgic in a way. Not that I've resumed collecting them mind you but the current DC film universe has shown how well we had it with those films, even TDKR.
