I find that on different days I prefer the closed mouth and than the open mouth. That's why I need to have all 3 versions. Too much pressure to decide

My Hot Toys Pred is posed that way, but the open mouthed version looks a lot more dynamic, and is more iconic in its way. Tough call. I'm pushing it getting 2, though. No way I'm picking up all 3 of these.

the close mouth will look great with the upcoming SS LSB or the open mouth if you have the 1:1. Since the 1/4 maquette has a open mouth sculpt, i went with the closed and helmet version on these.

I'm impressed.
As to the question of 5,000 pieces for each of the versions...
I hope NECA stays true to that.
It just makes these figures that much more valuable.

that's true, neca re-release alot of their figures,
recently ,the 18 inch alien and 18 inch endo, and serveral 7 in figures.

Yeah, I think the 5K is a conservative number that's the right ammount to make it worth even producing the figure but not so many that they're stuck with inventory, but unless these come with an ES, which I doubt, you can bet they'll make more if they think they'll sell.

P2 yes, not 18" though. It's the 7" figure.

no, there's no such thing as a 18" P2. as yet, they have no plans to make one. it will be a 12" resin prototype of the planned 6" version like they use for every new figure at every convention. there might be a 18" version next year, if we're lucky.

So awesome. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a 1/4 P2 is going to happen down the road, 'cause this thing is going to sell out quick once it's in stock and reviews start piling up. I'd like a 1/4 Alien Warrior too, for that matter...

Those are my thoughts exactly! I'm buying all 3 versions just because I've expended so much money on Preds all over the years looking for something with this quality and accuracy, based on the Movie itself, not interpretations. Man If I'm honest I like this one even better than the SS maquette (that I owned) and the Cinemaquette.

Predator 2 and the Elder will be done in 18" I'm sure and they'll be the top again

You will not see an 18" Elder, and unless the P1 is a huge sales success, you won't see P2 either.
