tankman, what's the chance of Elder and P2 being made in 1/4?

Does it simply boil down to the sales of P1?

Hopefully the lens gap is fixed. I really want to PO the masked P1. Last one to PO

did you guys try to ever get chrome or silver looking lenses for it? the black lenses isnt accurate either...........not that it makes or breaks the piece or anything though.

true, it's not accurate, but it's just a paint issue and those are the easiest to fix. the visor width however is definitely harder to fix and i hope NECA can do right by it. i don't care if it means production/shipping delays either. it could only help their cred.

Does anyone have any pics to see if the 8" version has the visor problem?

EDIT: Nevermind, found some good pics on Actionfigs.com, the 8" version looks fine, the mask looks perfect on it.

i think it's the same sculpt as the battle damaged Classic and yeah the visor gap is kinda wide on that too. it's not really noticeable at that scale, though. mostly an issue for the 1/4 scale version.

We did set out to make the most accurate P1 and the mask is in fact off. I'm glad someone noticed and hopefully we can fix it. The figure hasn't gone into full production and the mask is very important to many. So glad fans are liking this guy even with the gap problem I hope gets fixed.

i wish you could fix the netting, while your working on the gap on the mask, the netting is very important to many of us too, before it goes into full production.

well, if tankman says its not in full production yet, then the more accurate the better right? Having said this, I am someone who thinks Hot Toys P1 is already really good...so yah, I'm buying this Neca 1/4 P1 regardless of whether the mask and net is accurate. But it doesn't hurt for them to make it EVEN better right?

I know how much Kyle loves the alien and how much he wants it to be perfect. If he gets half a chance to revisit that sculpt, he will.

Seen some great décor in my reptile/ aquatic shop that would be brilliant for a 1/4 scale diorama for this guy. That's the problem though, it's 1/4 scale

Don't buy that stuff, chances are you'll be supporting animal cruelty AND overpaying Craft stores like Michaels always have good fake plants for a lot less....

You're dead on that it's too wide and I can't believe I didn't see this. I'm on it and we'll get it fixed I hope. Randy is really busy at TF and I sent him a message about the mask. I think it will be fix.
