so there's going to be a bunch of headless predators? lol
that's kinda funny, but, the people that buy the headless, what would they do with that?

Would a HT predator head go with the 1/4 predator body? I mean, that would be too little for a head no?

Maybe they are trying to get you to cancel your preorder because it was priced less than what they are wanting to charge for it 'now'.

Ya I dont know,They were $79.99 each at EE and I had two on order masked and openfaced..Total for the two was $180.So I went ahead and canceled both of them and ordered the same Two through ToyRus and my total is 149.08 shipped and it Saves me $30.. Not bad..I also preordered the Two sets of three through AMOK TIME for $200 a set of three..BUT I see know that they have raised there price to $239.99 and as of today they just sold out for the preorders..So yes they are raising there prices on these across the board..I Have been into collecting for over 25 years and I really believe that this Predator is going to be really HOT,,Every Predator fan is going to want one of these and if they only make 5000 of each as they said..It is going to Sky rocket in price in time once they are gone..I maybe wrong...But there is sure alot of Predator Fans out there..

but still a headless predator would be a hard thing to buy unless you can sculpt a head, but, the head is the hardest thing to do,

I was also thinking what if someone bought a close mouth, and molded a helmet, but again, is just me totally daydreaming,
This figure has me thinking crazy things,

The thing is, why preorder from a place if they are not going to honor the price that you preordered it at?

I PO'd from amoktime. All three for $200 USD.
Now, they have increased the preorder price to $240.

I think I will email them.

yeah I did the same with Toysrus and

I also think these figures are going to sold out and people go crazy for, is the biggest predator figure for a cheap prize, and Even if Neca messed up the paint of the fishnet or the helmet or whatever,
Neca is no that bad of a company, even if the predator doesnt look perfect I believe it is still going to look great, and be a great figure,
I don't think they'll mess up though, there is so much pressure for them (Specially if they are bashing HT on twitter, if they mess up this figure on the release they are going to look really bad, with all this hype )

That may turn out real well depending on the head sculpt of the elder, of course.

I would bet most people dont even know they are comming out..Only the people like us that follows this stuff,,There is going to be alot of impulse buying if stores have them on the shelfs long enough

unfortunately that's not going to happen, they mentioned on their twitter page that the output cost is just too high for them to make 1/4 predators, the 87pred is a treat i guess - can't say i blame them, but i would buy neca 1/4 figures even at higher costs, they have rarely disappointed me with their 1/4 figures and they chose really awesome and very oddball characters (this is really awesome for horror fans imo)

Thats disappointing for the P2. That Predator particularly would benefit from a better paintjob in 1/4 scale. Going on 8" figures like the Berserker, the P2s paintjob is going to be really tough to do well at that size.

Bummer but i'm glad we got THE PREDATOR and not an AVP Pred in 1/4 scale. I'm now officially hoarding ALL the 1/4 scale Predators I can find. I have a feeling this is going to be very collectible 10 or so years down the road.

I asked tankman and no answer... Because I want to cancel my preorder if he isn't fixed...
