NECA 1/4 scale predator

P2 will DEFINITELY sell well. Look at how many pages are in this thread... Practically everyone has said "Will NECA make a 1:4 P2 next?" atleast once in this, and other threads... IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!

There are 4 holes in the inter front of the back pack and they plug in there. It's kind of tough to get them in there but it does work.

I just got this figure, so amazing, I like it better than the HT one, and no I will not sell my HT Pred 1!!!

I think I finally see them. They are to the right inside of the pack, looks like the cannon assembly would need to be popped off to put them in. I took another look and they don't look like they are full holes, more like indentations actually unless it's not them. One of my wires would not even reach even if I attempted as it's like 1/2" long, I wonder if I got a defective wire that was cut too short? I won't attempt it anyway until I receive the new cannon replacement because if I try to pop mine off it may break where I reattached it with the epoxy.

To be honest I never like the 7 inch stuff. To see your sculpt go from 13 inches down 8 inch just feels kind of crappy. P2 is one if my best works and hopefully Randy and the boss can make it happen. Elder should be easy because his body is P1. Making these guys cost a lot and will P2 sell well? I would think so and his sculpt needs to be shown off in 19 inch glory.

There's a lack of P2 products on the market, past, present and future apart from your 8" figure. There is deffo a big gap there to be filled; what better way to fill it than with a 1/4 P2. (masked and unmasked)

Will you be able to update us on how well the P1 has sold once you see the sales figures later down the line?

it took me a little work to get the tubes to stay in place, one of them wouldn't stay in without making the hole deeper.
I just put them in order of how they were arranged. The one on the bottom of the jaw went in the firdt, and so on.

So did you rework the 2up into the 19" version -- was it mechanically enlarged to 1/4 scale?
I mean you didnt resculpt one completely at 19" did you?

Hey I took some pics of the hoses in the holes, I am now thinking the chin hose should be in the middle, too much slack. I also fixed something that bothered me right out of the box, the wraps that go around the elbows and knees. I removed the black silky wraps and replaced them with some thin leather strips I found at Michaels. What do you think?

I thought that too, but then the other hose has a lot of slack.

Yeah, it's really strange that only one (or a few others) are the only ones that have this.

Everyone and their brother needs to buy these to promote future releases! I think this thing is amazing, and seeing the pics of the SDCC Gort makes me want another giant Predator to stand next to this one. I don't know how you all feel, but I'd gladly buy the whole lot in 1/4 scale. I can't stop looking at it!!

hey you work at NECA. so, who made the call to make a 19" pred figure instead of a 1:4 scale one, but still say it's 1:4 on the box? i do not get the thinking behind that. now i have a $80 Predator that's the same size as my $40 Spaulding. so it's basically not to scale with a damn thing i own. awesome. how hard is it to make your figures the right scale? i honestly want to know. you did it just fine with the Big Chap.

Woo had me some more fun! But dammit now i really wish they had interchangeable heads. I really want to have it maskless but not need to have 2 figures because it is big.

And the stand i fashioned. (Fishing line around the waist and neck)

This is much better than i expected it to be. The visor isnt any less noticeable in person than in the pictures but the seam isnt all that visable unless you go in looking for it. Nice quality item and i want more please. If more Predators are brought out with this quality you will be onto a winner.

HOLY SH ... that looks freaking amazing (esp the shot in the grass with the house behind it) ... damn!

did you modify anything or is the figure as is?
