Got home today and saw that my Pred had taken a tumble off the shelf. Thankfully it was in a room with carpet and wasnt broken anywhere. I need to get a stand for this beast as the ankles dont seem to be that sturdy.

I'm proud of two things about my Preds, one is that they haven't moved an inch since I got them (the fishing line I used to tether them to the wall isn't pulled taught so the Preds have the freedom to lean forward if they want but they haven't) and I inspected all three and not a single bit of torn netting anywhere.

The torn netting in that screenshot is undoubtedly from when he was hit by Mac open firing on him, the bullet ripped his netting.

Heads Up,

Everyone check your Preds to see if they're leaning forward. I though noticed mine leaning a little bit more every day, and then I thought maybe it's just my paranoia but today it was definitely leaning more today and I think in a day or two it would have fell. You have to look at it on it's side profile because looking straight at it you really can't tell. I pulled the feet down/body back just a bit and it looks ok [for] now. Thankfully the feet joints are very tight. I really don't want to move them too much because I don't want them to loosen.

I'm tellin' ya, fishing line around their waste and tied to a dry wall anchor or nail and they can't go anywhere no matter if they lean or not.

I have my 18 incher on the edge of my 4 foot dresser right now. He's been there for over a day and nothing.

I occasionally walk over and push on him a few times.. Still nothing.

Wish it were the same with my Alien, though.

I actually bought this figure and sold it. I dont knock anyone for buying it and think its worth the price. I just wasnt overly happy with it. I think fortknox had some vaid points and I agree with him on some of them but he beat the living sh-- out of it. Which I think was a bit much. Someone mentioned that when its on the shelf next to his others figures you cant even tell the flaws it does have which is pretty accurate. Its not this holy grail of figures like people make it out to be but its far from a turd either. You get what you pay for.

I disagree.. This thing turned out much better than I expected, and I expected a lot. I'm loving it to death.

Mine are in a bookcase, but I've installed glass to keep them sealed in.

However, I live in earthquake country.

All my LA brothers will tell you the same....
When a big one hits, you feel like your house is going to fold in on itself and collapse over your head.


There ain't no shelf or bookcase that can save the figures from that.

Why couldn't he have just put his "opinion" in the NECA Predator thread? Because he wants EVERYBODY to know that he's SPECIAL and that NECA is owned by SATAN.

guy just wanted to vent. this is the space for it. i've done it, you guys have done it. i actually give him props for not getting into idiotic debate with you lot. he stated his case and he moved on. i only wish i have his restraint, reading some of the asinine replies here.

if you're confident enough in your own taste then no matter what some guy said about a toy you love wont offend you one bit. but some of you guys are really taking this so personal. bunch of insecure babies in this forum.

Yeah but the thing is, if you've followed his posting history, since he joined he has done nothing but 'vent'. It seems like he joined specifically and only to bash NECA in some sort of personal vendetta. He wanted this figure to 'fail' just so he could assemble this giant 'I told you so' post.
