NECA 1/4 scale predator

I'm creating my own bio for my closed mouth version with super sculpey, but due to the lack of time I still only did the mouth section. I gotta say it was harder than antecipated and I think it's a bit too big. I placed tinfoil on the face and I'm molding on top of it. I hope it will look better than that one in the end... if it does I'll post pics.

I think the best way to do it would be to first do a mandible mod.
Copy what HTs did with the removeable mandibles. Then Sculpt the mask with the mandibles removed.
Personally, I wouldnt bother sculpting my own mask though. I would try to mold/cast the original neca mask and then modify it to fit.

just got a masked predator and opened mouth predator from gohastings and it wouldn't be gohastings unless something went wrong.

the masked one's wires appear to be loose on the mask and only connected on one end.

the open mouthed version's bone necklace is at the bottom of the box and the string isn't attached on one side.

anyone else have these problems? are they easy fixes? i really don't want to go to the hassle of sending them back, but if they're not easy fixes or common problems then back they are going.

The hoses are fine they are loose on the other end and plug into the pack by the shoulder canon.

Necklace is broke but a dab of super glue should fix that easily enough.

Masked comes like that and the necklace should be pretty simple to fix.

anyone want to buy the masked version. l have one out of the box with the bio fix. l just don't see the wow factor anymore. he is not 1/4 and dosen't fit in with my other 1/4 stuff.

he looks small next to them. my lurts PF is thicker wider and taller then this pred. thats because this pred is 1/5 scale not 1/4. that's the thing that kills this pred and l am PISSED Neca goes around advertising it as 1/4.

I'd posted a pic of it next to the Jason Voorhees 1/4 scale PF. The Jason is a little big to begin with, so Predator looked really small next to it.
